Walking in St. John's, Antigua - What to do on Your Day in Port
This is a quick video of our walk through the port of St. John's, Antigua. We were on a 7 day Southern Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas. Antigua is a beautiful island. In this video we walk up to St. John's Cathedral also known as the St. John the Divine, the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of North Eastern Caribbean and Aruba. It is an Anglican church perched on a hilltop in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. The present cathedral with its imposing white twin towers was built on a fossilized reef, in 1845, and is now in its third incarnation, as earthquakes in 1683 and in 1745 destroyed the previous structures. The iron gates on the south face of the church are flanked by pillars displaying lead Biblical figures of St John the Divine and St John the Baptist. They were taken by HMS Temple in 1756, from a French ship destined for Martinique.
Antigua is one of the 2 major islands that make up the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda. Ringed with coral reefs, the island is known for its many sandy beaches. Set along English Harbour, restored Nelson’s Dockyard, which Admiral Horatio Nelson made his base in the 1780s, includes a marina and the Dockyard Museum. Trails lead up to Shirley Heights, a former military lookout with panoramic views.

South Africa has all the features for a Dream travel destination; great weather, beautiful beaches, culture, friendly people, great cuisine.
Eastern Cape, South Africa prides itself with some of the most beautiful beaches and waterfalls in South Africa.
We drove from East London to Port Alfred, the scenic view is amazing- so green, full of mountains. Get to enjoy the beautiful scenery with crystal blue waters. They have a lovely restaurant and plenty of boat cruise companies by the Harbour.
We had lunch at a cute place that sells amazing amazing food in Port Alfred (opposite KFC);
Thee Braai House:
Their food was mouth watering, delicious & fresh, they were also so friendly (it's a family business- the mom & son), we even went again the same day to get dinner.
We then drove to Kenton-on-Sea which also has a beautiful beach, a mini sand bank, and just all the greenery and beautiful mountains.
The highlight for me was Shelley beach in Kenton-on-Sea! The beautiful dunes, the high mountain sand, the blue sea water, the amazing rocks and just all round stunning and beautiful views. A dream place to be, just dipping in the water, enjoying the sound of the birds and enjoying nature. To die for.

I recently took on the challenge of hiking over 5 days from Port St Johns to Coffee Bay with two of my brothers, Byran & Greg Boucher. Asanda from Wild Coast Hikes With Asanda ensured that we didn't get lost and that meals and accommodation were taken care of. Throughout the 71km covered we crossed rivers, walked up challenging hills, trundled through forests, wombled on immaculate beaches, stopped for overnight rest in rural villages and rewarded ourselves with regular shebeen purchases.
I feel grateful for having experienced the incomparable beauty of the Wild Coast and the warm hospitality of her people.

One can plan a day with some other enthralling activities like golf or Quad Biking and Segway Tour. Overall, Sun City is the only destination where you can enjoy your day in leisure and add or thrill.
