We take a break from our busy lives to chill out in la pineda, Spain.
La Pineda is part of the Catalan not far from Barcelona, in the North East of Spain. Its 3 km beach is beautiful all the way down, with beach bars and grass parasols dotted along the way. The Sea is clean, clear and warm for this time of year, and was a pleasure to bob about to cool off from the 32c weather, not at all bad for September hey.
The Hotel complex is Estival Park which is made up of 3 Large hotels, Family suites and apartments, a sports and health spa and child daycare. The food is amazing and the entertainment every night was top notch, an hour approximately from 10 to 11pm. The rooms are clean and tidy and visited daily by housekeeping. Only thing we found was there was only one plug socket in the room and one in the bathroom, but the Air conditioning was on all the time thankfully.

Visiting Costa Brava is really an excellent way to
unwind, relax and take in some stunning coastal views
It has some great food, it has wonderful small seaside villages
Great beaches, I can understand why it was named one of the top destinations in the
world.
get off the highway and make your way to the coastal drive
the smaller roads take you to these interesting places
but they're also a really fun to drive
Woohoo road trip
we're here in Tossa de Mar and I gotta
say if you are driving Costa Brava or
Visiting Costa Brava
this is definitely one of the places
that you have to come. It's a beautiful
seaside village, it has a lot a great hotels
and an absolutely gorgeous beach.
Another great stop in Costa Brava is
Sant Feliu de Guixols. This is a town that's on the coast
it's beautiful and known for the 10th century monastery that's right behind us.
You can go in, give it a tour and check out the museum that's in there as well.
Just one of the great historic things that are along the drive here in Costa Brava
So we're here in the town of Port Lligat just outside of Cadaques
and we're up on the North Eastern tip of Costa Brava
and the hightlight of this town is going to the
Salvador Dali house where Dali himself
lived and decorated and designed it all himself
so make your reservations before hand online and don't be stuck like us
another thing that you have to do
when you come here to Costa Brava is
it hike coastal trail
this is just the best way to get the
feel for it
the landscape. As you can see behind me, the views are
absolutely stunning no matter where you. Yeah the Coastal Trail runs
the entire Costa Brava Coast, it's well marked
and I suggest just staying in a city and doing day trips back and forth.

Pineda de Mar heeft zijn Spaanse identiteit weten te behouden: er is een mooi oud centrum met als ontmoetingsplek, voor de lokale bevolking, een plein vol gezellige terrasjes. Aan dit levendige plein grenst de winkelstraat waar je naar hartenlust kunt winkelen. Deze mooie winkelstraat loopt uit in allemaal typisch Spaanse, smalle straatjes.

Pineda de Mar is a municipality in the Spanish province of Barcelona in the region of Catalonia . It is a well-known seaside resort in the #Costa del Maresme, between Calella and Santa Susanna.
It was originally a fishing village, which is reflected in the picturesque boats scattered along the beach. Compared to the bustling Lloret de Mar, it is very quiet here.
Pineda de Mar has managed to retain its Spanish identity: there is a beautiful old centre with a square full of cosy terraces as a meeting point for the locals. Adjacent to this lively square is the shopping street where you can shop to your heart's content. This beautiful shopping street ends in all typically Spanish, narrow streets
