????Parc del Turó de la Peira????
The Turó de la Peira park (Parc del Turó de la Peira in Catalan) is located in the Nou Barris district, being the oldest and most natural in the area, since it was inaugurated in 1936 .
It covers an area of almost 8 hectares of scrub and lush pine forests remarkable for other plant species located in the westernmost part of the neighborhood to which the park gives its name. The hill belonged to the Can Peguera estate, which gives its name to the neighboring neighborhood .
At the beginning of the sixties the extension of the park was reduced due to the rapid construction of houses, based on a partial plan typical of the pre-democratic era, with an urbanization without services and with poor quality housing. It was not until 1977 that the affected area was replanted. The upper zone did survive, just as it did during the Civil War . In March 2007 , a comprehensive rehabilitation of the park was carried out and all its services and infrastructures were updated.
Crowned by a viewpoint with a large metal cross, from where we can see much of the district and much of the city of Barcelona . Inside, steep paths between pine trees or stairs facilitate access to its different services.
It has a children's play area, table tennis tables , basketball , volleyball and soccer courts , a dog area , toilets and parking , as well as numerous fountains and benches and areas with tables and chairs for picnics . (from Wikipedia)

Vilafranca del Penedès is a municipality in the province of Barcelona in the community of Catalonia, Spain. Capital of the Alto Panadés region, around 40,000 inhabitants. It is situated in the Penedès Depression on the left bank of the Foix River. It is known for its sparkling wines, Catalan cava, and wines from the Penedés designation of origin.
The town was founded in the middle of the 12th century as a result of the decline of Olèrdola, which had been until then the main local centre. Vilafranca is known internationally for its wines : Catalan cava and wines from the Penedès Designation of Origin (DO), with multinational brands such as Bodegas Torres . Apart from wines and cavas, Vilafranca is also known for the Castellers de Vilafranca and its Festa Major, which has one of the oldest dragons in Europe (around 1600) and about twenty dances, snacks and casteller groups.
The Castellers de Vilafranca group was founded in September 1948, by Oriol Rosell, who was its first leader. The beginnings were marked by the achievement of the first castles of seven and by the close relations with the other gangs of the time. During these years, the gang leaders were Oriol Rosell (1948-1952) and Ramon Sala (1953-1955) and the color of the shirt was pink, first, and red, later.

BARCELONA Cruise Port Bus 'Colloquially' or 'BLUE BUS' Christopher Columbus Monument to terminal.
Barcelona has a Cruise Bus Service for just €3 one way from the Christopher Columbus Monument (Near World Trade Centre) directly to the side of the cruise ship. The driver ONLY ACCEPTS CASH and at this time (Oct 2022) a Facemask is MANDATORY - No mask No bus! If you are staying near La Rambla Boulevard if you walk to the bottom of La Rambla, cross the road and walk approx. 200 yards toward the World Trade Centre the bus stop is there on the right side. PLEASE NOTE! There are 2 buses to 2 different terminals make sure you ask where it is going... The Bus service operates whenever there is a cruise ship in port and is frequent. If you are landing at Barcelona Airport there is a number 21 Bus that will drop you off a 1 minute walk from the Columbus Monument and that bus is approx. €4. This would mean approx. €14 total price from the airport to the ship. A taxi from the Airport to the ship is Appox. €37 a set price so if you are on a budget quite a saving.

In this video we are going to evaluate the Gran Hotel Sol y Mar - Adults Experience.
Gran Hotel Sol y Mar - Adults Experience has an ideal setting next to Arenal Beach, on Calpe’s seafront. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a free welcome pack in the minibar.
This design hotel has a beach club and infinity pool, with wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Peñon de Ifach Rock.
The Gran Hotel Sol y Mar is in the centre of Calpe, on the Costa Blanca. The town has a modern marina and an old fishing port. It is less than 20 km from Benidorm.
The hotel's Food Gallery Restaurant serves fresh Mediterranean meals, while Abiss Restaurant Gastro Barra offers gourmet à la carte food. The Gran Hotel Sol y Mar also has an elegant lobby bar and the Dorée Gin & Sea bar serving cocktail and drinks.
Access to the hotel’s spa comes at an extra cost. There is also a gym, with personal trainers and fitness classes.
The reform works are from Monday to Friday, they start at 08:00 and finish at 18:00. They affect 2 floors of rooms during each period. Between 11/01/2022 and 03/15/2023 all rooms will be renovated.
