Mas Isern, Sant Climent de Peralta, Costa Brava, Spain

Mas Isern in Peratallada comprises five full-sized bedrooms, five bathrooms, a guest wc, a kitchen with a breakfast area, a library, a living room and a dining room (main house). Surrounded by charming medieval Catalan villages, and a short 10 minute drive to the nearest beaches.

There is a service room, with bathroom on the ground floor accessible upon request. Two bedrooms are furnished with double beds, two further ones have two single beds each and the fifth one enjoys two bunk beds.

The kitchen enjoys all the modern amenities one might need for a comfortable vacation, dishwasher, a hob, a fridge freezer, a microwave, a toaster, kitchenware and tableware. The main house has Air-conditioning. Outside, the house gardens and several relaxation areas including a BBQ, a pool of 11 x 7 m with large loungers and a table tennis.

The house has stables with horses, ideal for enthusiasts. A trainer can be hired on their availability to take guests on excursions.

There is an annex with 2 more bedrooms behind the chapel that can be booked with an additional fee. One bedroom enjoys a double bed, the other one comes with twin beds. The rooms share a bathroom and a sitting area.

After centuries of virtually changeless history, Ibiza in the 1960s became a Mecca for young artists, intellectuals and hippies who found in the island an inspiring virgin territory where they could get away from unfulfilling western society.

6: Four-wheeling on Stone Island
Directions: Just take the embarcadero ferry and walk to the beach across the street. Walk for a bit and look for a big group of quads and ask them how much! They only accept cash. Enjoy!

5: Parasailing
Directions: We went with Mazatlán Water Sports on the Playa Luna Bonita. They should be recognizable by the big parachutes being flown on the beach. Super fun but be safe!

3: Surfing La Playa Luna Bonita
Having bussed all the way to Playa Brujas only to get a guy's number and then coordinating price and location with him, we have a few recommendations for getting surf lessons. First off, it's important to know going into it how many surf lessons you want. 1? 3? 5? They also have board rentals if you have tried surfing before and just want the board. Next, we honestly think the best way to get lessons is to just go to Playa Luna Bonita (Next to Luna Palace) and ask around for surf lessons. You'll eventually find people who are either a. in charge or b. know the people in charge. If you are not lucky, just leave us a comment and we can get in touch with you to give the specific number of who we went with.

2: Horseback ride on Stone Island
Directions: Similar to four-wheeling, just take the embarcadero ferry and walk to the beach across the street. Walk for a bit and look for a big group of horses and ask them how much! They only accept cash. As we mention in the video, we highly recommend that you go for the full 30 minutes. That way, you'll be able to go through the forest and gallop on the beach.

1: Catamaran ride on La Plata Luna Bonita

Sooooo much fun! Similar to parasailing, we went with Mazatlán Water Sports on the Playa Luna Bonita. They should be recognizable by the big parachutes being flown on the beach, but they also have little catamaran boats. They are called veleros. Bring some seltzers or wine or beer - they will supply you with a cooler. Then, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! You'll get beautiful scenery and a wonderful stop at Deer Island.
