Visiting the HOHER PEISSENBERG. The mountain at Upper Bavaria with the best Alpin view. (Germany)

Welcome to a new video. Many times, in the past I´ve been at the top of the Hoher Peißenberg at my trips to upper Bavaria in Germany. It’s a mountain which is loceated nearly at the border from upper Bavaria and the Allgäu region. The best of this place is the extremely wide view to the Bavarian Alps. Watch my video about this panorama mountain and find out more.

The trip to the Hohen Peißenberg:
I went by car to upper Bavaria and visited the mountain called “Hoher Peißenberg”. I knew this place from more times in the past where I´ve been there. Interesting is that this mountain is loceated 15 kilometers far away of the Bavarian alps and is not an official mountain from the alps. I parked my car at the large parking place and walked the few minutes way up to the outlook place there. Like on every sunny day and clear sky the view was wide enough to see the mountains from the region around Salzburg to the Allgäu at the town Kempten. To my surprise the church was open, and I could see the hall for myself with only a few other people. At next I explained the different parts of the mountains from the region around Salzburg via the Ammergauer mountains to the Allgäu. Also, the landscape at the north part was interesting. I could see the Ammersee and the bigger Starnberger See (german languarge) and to Munich and Augsburg as well. It was like the last stays there an amazing experience. In the last part of the video, I gave you some photos what I´ve made at the Hohen Peißenberg from the last 10 years.

About the Hoher Peissenberg:
The Hohen Peißenberg is a mountain loceated at upper Bavaria in Germany near the region Allgäu. The region where the mountains is loceated is called “Pfaffenwinkel” The mountain is 780 meter over the sea level and has a view on a clear sky from the region around Salzburg to the mountains at Kempten at the Allgäu. At the top is a restaurant called “Bayerischer Rigi” where the visitors can enjoy the Bavarian kitchen, coffee both cakes. Next to the outlook place there is a church which has also the name “Wallfahrtskirche Hohenpeißenberg”. The church is daily open mostly from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The church is like many churches in the south part of Bavaria a catholic church. Sometimes in the year the community of Peißenberg organized a holy mass. The Hoher Peißenberg is also known for a TV controlling tower at the top. Independent in which time you visit the Hohen Peißenberg the view is amazing. The church and the location Bayerischer Rigi are also popular for weddings and other events from the region, the Bavarian politic as well.
The way up to the Hohen Peißenberg is not easy to find. The car drivers have to go by car behind the mountain via the village Hohenpeißenberg and over a street up the big parking place. For more finding the way is useful to use the service of Google Maps also here in the description

Video details:

Info for arriving by car and train. It is not easy to find the way by car and by train from station Hohenpeissenberg to the top of the mountain. I give you the tip to use the service of Google Maps to find it:

My friends and I took a day trip to Mittenwald, Germany. Mittenwald is a lesser known and traveled town in the Bavarian Alps, and my friends and I decided to hike and explore the town. Germany Road Trip: Sledding the Bavarian Alps + Munich!

This is our final Germany Road Trip vlog here in Bavaria Germany, our 29th country on our round the world trip! We’ve made it to the beautiful ski-town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany where we spend the day sledding the slopes atop the Zugspitze - The Top of Germany!

We took the Zugspitze cable car up Germany’s highest mountain and the views were incredible. From the top, you can see four countries - Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy! Renting sleds on Zugspitze is very simple and they even take credit cards. With our sleds in hand, we made our way to the slopes and had the best time shredding the snow! This is one of the best things to do when in Bavaria, Germany so be sure to add it to your itinerary.

After a fun day in Bavaria’s winter wonderland, we continue on to Munich, Germany where we try delicious german food at the famous Hofbrauhaus! The Munich Hofbrauhaus is SO MUCH FUN! And, the German food and beer are wonderful. We got the Dunkel and Radler beers, Weisswurst (Bavarian white sausages), Kartoffelsalat (German Potato Salad), Sauerkraut, and a big fat German Pretzel!

With our tummies full, we shopped for over an hour at the Munich Christmas Market at Marienplatz where we picked up gifts and german desserts for our friends and family for Christmas. And, of course, we had to stop and eat more tasty German Kartoffelpuffers - German potato pancakes! They were SO GOOD.

To round out our 6-month European travel adventures, we flew back home to Dallas from Europe on Delta One Business Class! We were so happy to use one of the best travel hacks to fly business class at such a low cost - only 72K miles and $378 Each!

If you want to learn how to travel hack to score cheap business class flights like we did, then check out @KaraandNate travel hacking resource at

Oberammergau in Germany and its World-famous Passion Play | Why they don't shave here for year

Meet Jesus in Bavaria: The world's best-known passion play has been taking place in the village of Oberammergau every ten years since 1634. In it, some 2,000 villagers enact the final days in the life of Jesus Christ. To add a touch of authenticity, male protagonists are barred from shaving or visiting the barber for a whole year! DW’s Lukas Stege went to Oberammergau to experience this extraordinary event – and even got himself a selfie with Jesus.
Watch the video until the end to see Lukas riding the Alpine Coaster from Kolbensattel Mountain!

Walking in Füssen Germany (Explore Füssen Bavaria Germany)

Explore with me Füssen as I walk through the streets of this beautiful town. Füssen is a Bavarian town in Germany, just north of the Austrian border. You can stop by this town before or after you visit Neuschwanstein castle.

✅ How do you get to Füssen?
If you are coming from Munich, take a train from Munich Central Station to Füssen. There is a direct train every 2 hours. There is also an additional connecting service that operates every two hours as well, requiring a change of trains in Kaufbeuren. Both the direct train and the other train with a connection in Kaufbeuren take approximately 2 hours to reach Füssen.
Füssen train station is about a 10-minute walk from the city center.
