I have been living in Alanya for the past year and it is famous for its stunning beaches, Taurus mountains, and ancient history. Cleopatra beach in Alanya is one of the most famous beaches n Turkey as Queen Cleopatra once swam here.
Take the cable cars up to Alanya Castle which was once the summer residence of Seljuk Sultan Aladdin Keykubad. The Red Tower was also built during the reign of Sultan Aladdin and it is now a national symbol of Alanya. The Alanya shipyard is also nearby and you can buy a combined ticket with the Red Fort Tower.
The Alanya Pirate boat tours are popular with tourists and you can visit many caves and beaches during this tour. You can also see the famous Alanya lighthouse from the seas.
Some popular day trips from Alanya include Manavgat waterfall, Side (where you can try out dune buggies and white water rafting), Koprulu Canyon, and Sapadere Kanyon.
You can find many amazing restaurants cooking up some of the freshest and best produce that grows here in Alanya. One unique restaurant we recommend visiting is called Göl Piknik in the Dimçayi area. This is a fabulous mountainside restaurant with delicious dishes. We chose the sac kavurma, cheesy mushrooms, chips, eggplant, and yogurt salads. In the summer months, you can enjoy your meal outside in canopy’s surrounded by the water and play in the water park. After visiting this restaurant, you can visit the nearby Dimçayi caves, and lakes and enjoy the scenic views.

Here’s all the Indonesian food we ate today:
Pecel Kriuk Dan Rawon Bu Lili ( - If there’s one single dish that represents Surabaya, it would have to be rawon, an Indonesian beef soup with black keluak nut. It’s so delcious and has been rated as one of the best soups in the world. We also tried another classic breakfast dish called nasi pecel - rice, vegetables, and peanut sauce.
Lontong Balap Mbah Ato ( - Next up we went to an amazing stall to eat Lontong Balap - compressed rice, bean sprouts, peanut sauce, sweet soy sauce.
Soto Ambengan Pak Sadi ( - This is one of those heritage institution restaurants that’s famous for serving Soto Ayam, Indonesian chicken soup. I loved all the herbs in the broth and the toppings.
Sate Klopo Ondomohen Bu Asih ( - There are many variations of sate in Indonesia and one of the unique versions in Surabaya is Sate Klopo - sate with shredded coconut.
Rujak Cingur dan Sop Buntut Genteng Durasim ( - Another dish Surabaya is famous for is called Rujak Cingur, a very unique combination of fruits and vegetables with cow nose. The greatest thing about the salad is the peanut sauce with shrimp pate and green mango.
Bebek Goreng Papin ( - You can’t go to Surabaya without trying their local “bebek goreng” deep fried duck - I’m going to just go ahead and say that it’s the best fried duck on earth. This legendary Indonesian street food stall makes it like no other - so juicy and moist on the inside and so crispy on the outside, with insane amounts of flavor.
Tahu Campur Cak Sadak ( - Finally another unique dish to Surabaya is a mix of tofu called Tahu Campur - Mix of tofu with vegetables, noodles, and beef tendon soup.

When in Dubai you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice but here are the 10 must-visit places in Dubai.
1 Burj Khalifa
Burj Khalifa is an unmissable attraction, you literally can’t miss it as it’s the world’s tallest building.
Make your way to the observation deck using the world’s fastest glass elevator to get a bird’s eye view of this insanely beautiful city.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious meal at the world’s highest restaurant or relax at Burj Khalifa lounge which boosts being the world’s highest lounge.
Other things to do in Burj Khalifa include enjoying the live fountain show and strolling around Burj Park.
2 Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah is an incredible tree-shaped man-made island that is considered to be heaven on earth by many.
This photogenic gem is home to many popular tourist attractions in Dubai like Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium.
Additionaly it’s packed with luxury hotels like Atlantis The Palm, shopping malls and top-tier restaurants.
Amazing things to do in Palm Jumeirah include strolling along the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, paddling around The Palm and going on a speedboat ride.
3 Museum of the Future
The exterior of this masterpiece is a unique oval shape engraved with Arabic poetry and is the epitome of beauty.
Typically, museums are meant to showcase the past but this special one is devoted to the exploration of the future.
Here you’ll get a chance to visit the Journey to the Future and discover the Digital Amazon exhibit, marvel at the Tomorrow Today exhibition and tour The Vault of Life.
4 Souk Madinat
A marvelous shopping spot and a perfect dining site next to the world-famous Burj Al Arab.
Souk Madinat offers a one-of-a-kind insight into both old and modern Dubai.
Some of the best things to do in Souk Madinat include watching a show at the Madinat theatre and going for a scenic boat ride along the Souk’s lovely canals.
Many have also enjoyed a visit to the Theatre of Digital Art.
5 Dubai Mall
Next to the Burj Khalifa, lies the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping complex.
Whether you’re here to shop at the high-end stores, dine at fancy restaurants or you’re up for a bit of an adventure, Dubai Mall houses everything in their spectacular complex to cater to your needs.
The most popular spot in the mall is the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
However, there are other fun things to do like ice skating, playing arcade games, watching a movie at the cinema and go-kart racing.
6 Infinity Des Lumieres
Located inside Dubai Mall, this incredible digital art venue is something you have to experience.
This art and culture hot spot mostly focuses on 3 major exhibits: Dreamed Japan, Van Gogh and Verse.
The venue uses a fascinating medley of colour, sound, and movement to change how a person views art.
Recently, a new show running til July 2023 has been added to showcase the impeccable work of architect Gaudi.
7 Dubai Frame
The Dubai Frame is an imposing frame-like structure and one of the most popular places to visit in Dubai.
Inside, while at the top of the frame you can see unspoiled views of both Old Dubai and Downtown Dubai.
Astonishingly, part of the floor is made of glass so you can see everything underneath.
The Old Dubai Gallery is found on the first floor and presents the city’s history.
Make sure you don’t leave before you visit Future Dubai.
8 Miracle Garden
Appreciate the beauty of amazing artwork made entirely of flowers at Miracle Garden.
Walk through the garden to see impressive structures covered in wonderful flowers of different colors.
Take a picture at the Sunflower Field, marvel at the Instagram-worthy Floral Clock and make your way to the Emirates A380 exhibit which is one of Miracle Garden’s top attractions.
9 Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo
Dubai Aquarium is probably one of the most visited places in Dubai and its underwater tunnels are one of the most photographed spots in Dubai.
Found at the bottom of Dubai Mall, part of it is free.
However, the underwater zoo on the second floor is the perfect place to see a vast variety of marine life.
Adrenaline junkies have an unmissable opportunity to swim with the sharks and go cage snorkeling.
This is without a doubt one of the best things to do in Dubai with kids.
10 Ski Dubai
Ski Dubai is a mighty indoor ski resort found in the Mall of Emirates, one of Dubai’s most famous malls.
This park with an exceptional wintery setting contains a Snow Park, ski slopes, an ice museum and even skiing academy.
The main activity here is skiing but people also love ziplining from one side of the park to the other.

First off, I want to say THANK YOU for all your kind words and messages these past few days. It feels surreal to be able to say the sentence, “I have been to every single country in the world!” There will be many incredible stories being made these next 2 weeks as I travel across Saudi Arabia.
But let’s not forget about Palau! This is my last video from this beautiful Pacific-island nation, and it’s one of my favorites! Palau has a population of less than 18,000 residents. For comparison, my University (Wisconsin-Madison) was two times larger than that!
I challenged myself to see if I could throw the biggest meet-up/party that this country has ever seen. In order to do that, I had to get permission from the Palau’s Visitors Authority as well as the President himself.
Let’s just say that it was one of the most fun events I’ve ever thrown!!! I hope you enjoy this story, and thanks for watching my Palau series. It’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world and I can’t wait to go back!

This is my travel diary when i went to Tarakan. Finally, i went back to Tarakan, The place where i was born.
Little information about Tarakan. According to Wikipedia.org, Tarakan is the largest city in North Kalimantan. Tarakan is located in Kalimantan Island.
Here, you can visit Amal Beach, eat delicious seafoods, and meet Bekantan.
