**FIRST EVER** Class 52 Western to visit Paddock Wood
Saturday 13th December 2014.
What I believe to be the first ever class 52 Western to visit this part Kent, no. D1015 Western Champion (acting as D1041 Western Prince) storms through Paddock Wood at 14:15, 2 hours and 22 minutes late (which is not bad considering it left Banbury almost 3 hours late due to one of the coaches suffering from brake problems). The working was 1Z23 06:33 Tame Bridge Parkway to Canterbury West. I didn't think this would happen, but thankfully I was wrong.

The day the 52 Western came to Kent (see other videos) 66 743 and 66 720 pass through Paddock Wood at 15:32, 1 late, working 6W75 15:21 Tonbridge West Yard to Tonbridge West Yard with one of the RHTT sets. It was some bright spark's idea to go over on platform 1 to film this, foolishly, as it turns out, as I was bowled by an 8 car 375 set working 2W48 to London Charing Cross.

Due to lockdown restrictions, I was unable to reshoot this video, so I have re edited a visit from 2019, hence the lower quality. In this video I visit the least used Railway station in Kent, Swale. The rolling stock which use it and the facilities here are shown. I have no timecodes for the traffic, as they only appear at the start and end of the video.
