The beach itself may be the first thing that attracts visitors to the area, and it’s almost a small town in and of itself. No trip is complete without seeing its luscious sands or stopping by its shops or water park.
A visit to the famed Daytona International Speedway is arguably one of the best things to do in Daytona Beach and almost as famous as the beach itself. You can watch a race here or learn about the sport at the Motorsports Museum. If you want to drive on your own, go to Go-Kart City.
If you want an even bigger thrill, try dropping at the restaurant at Skydive DeLand, going on a zipline, or being shot out of the world’s second-largest slingshot.
These high-speed activities aren’t the only way to keep active in Daytona Beach. Try one of its many golfing destinations, including mini-golf courses like Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf and professional courses like LPGA International.
Daytona Beach is also a historic area full of preserved historic buildings such as the Stetson Mansion and Mary McLeod Butane House. Many are considered haunted, especially the Lillian Heritage Center.

5 Great Places to Enjoy In Ormond Beach, Florida| State Parks, Ormond Garage, and Beachfront Park!
In this video, we're off our couch in Ormond Beach, Florida! We're driving the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail, a beautiful drive that takes you through parks, historical sites, rivers, marshes, and more! One of our stops is Bulow Creek State Park to behold the 70 foot Fairchild Oak and to experience the trails and other amenities of the park. We stop by the historical site of the Dummitt Plantation Mill Ruins and then head to Tomoka State Park where we talk to Captain Scott Cornelius, co-owner of Tomoka Outpost- a store that caters to campers and guests of the park. Captain Cornelius tells us more about the Outpost and the park before we set out to learn more about the history of this park. We enjoy a lunch and dinner at Ormond Garage! Ormond Garage is a restaurant with delicious American fare that pays homage to the beach racing history of Ormond Beach, Florida! The last stop is the beach, Ormond Beach, and we're entering the beach through the Andy Romano Beachfront Park which provides beachgoers with several amenities- a splashpad, playground, concessions, and more! It's another fun-filled adventurous day in Ormond Beach and we hope you come along for the ride with us!

The Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail is one of the most popular drives in the state of Florida. It covers more than 30 miles taking riders through some of the most beautiful and diverse natural scenery along the Atlantic coastline.
This scenic gem is a favorite of motorcycle enthusiasts year-round. It is the top ride during annual special events, Bike Week and Biketoberfest.
