Tiny Tour | Tolosa Spain | A colorful medieval town on the bank of River Oria 2019 Autumn

Hi guys, around lunch time, we visited this beautiful town called Tolosa. You might noticed the whole town was pretty empty, I suppose that’s because locals are enjoying their siesta. It’s located on the bank of the river Oria, Tolosa is a town with a great historical importance that admires its past, but it is also adapted to the present times. The former capital of Gipuzkoa was an important passage for traders that linked up Navarre with ports of the Bay of Biscay. For centuries it benefited from numerous privileges. From that glorious past Tolosa inherited a valuable historical old quarter marked by buildings and monuments of different styles.

SORBAS - Almeria, Spain

Personal record of a walk around Sorbas, a pueblo about 40km (25miles) inland from Vera Playa or Mojacar areas.
If you have seen the never ending stream of lorries coming to and from Garrucha port, carrying their 24 ton loads of gypsum, then a few km/miles before Sorbas is where they collect it, on the right heading towards Sorbas, you can see the dust for miles.
Anyway, Sorbas is a pleasant yet quite dramatic place, the old part almost being an island with the Rio Aguas around it. From the main road looking up, houses are perched on the cliffside. There is a one way system in the pueblo due to the narrow streets it has. There is a pleasant plaza in the centre with the doughnut shaped trees for shade.
This was one stop on a day out, visiting Sorbas, Agua Amarga, Carboneras, Macenas, Mojacar Playa and back to Garrucha.
There is a dashcam video of the drive and another video of Agua Amarga and Carboneras. There are already videos of Macenas, Mojacar and Garrucha on our channel.

Tiny Tour | Hondarribia Spain | An incredibly beautiful ancient city from 12th century 2019 Autumn

Hi guys, today is cloudy, but I still managed to capture the beauty of this amazing city, Hondarribia. Those recommended touristic spots are basically all filmed in this video.
Hondarribia (Fuenterrabía) is a town situated on the west shore of Bidasoa river's mouth, in Gipuzkoa, in Basque Country, Spain. The border town is situated on a little promontory facing Hendaye (France) over the Txingudi bay. A service boat makes the trip between the two cities. The town holds an ancient old quarter with walls and a castle. In addition, Hondarribia features a beach across the Bidasoa from the touristy housing estate Sokoburu in Hendaye, alongside a mountain called Jaizkibel providing a hilly backdrop to the town. A road leads north-east from the beach area to the Cape Higuer, located in this municipality.

00:50:45 Mundaka & Guernica
00:01:04 San Juan de Gatzelugatxe (Drachenstein aus Game of Thrones)
01:05:13 Bilbao
01:27:40 Verabschiedung

Tiny Tour | Vejer de la Frontera Spain | One of the most beautiful towns in Andalucía | 2021 Oct

On the day of filming this episode, we encountered Netflix shooting a TV Show called Las de la última fila in this town. Maybe you might recognize some actors in this episode. Feel free to let us know in the comments.

Vejer de la Frontera is a Spanish municipality located in the province of Cádiz (Andalucía). The core of the town stands on a 200-meter-high mountain, on the banks of the Barbate River and 8 kilometers from the coast.

Its walled historic center, which still preserves the castle and several significant churches, was declared a historic-artistic complex in 1976. Vejer is part of what is known as the 'Association of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain'.

Vejer has been inhabited since the early Palaeolithic and was already fortified in the Bronze Age. Remains dating from the 7th century BC have been found from Tartessian and Roman times.

Nowadays, the population lives from agriculture (generally viticulture), from wild cattle (especially from the resurgence of the Retinta breed) and from the tourism that it usually receives in summer.

Spanish Property Choice Video Property Tour - Cortijo A927 Oria, Almeria, Spain. 135,000€

The Garners of UK Channel 4, Sun, Sea and Selling Houses brings this property video tour to you. For the price and a full breakdown of costs just click this link
Description…
This is a charming, two-storey, detached cortijo divided into two sections, located at the very edge of La Ermita in the Rambla de Oria area, offering fantastic views of the surrounding area including the mountains and countryside. The property is therefore situated either a 10-minute drive to the town of Oria where you will find a number of bars, restaurants, shops, medical centre and more or 20 minutes to the larger, bustling market town of Albox for further amenities.

The property can be accessed by tarmac entirely or by crossing the rambla, with a few hundred metres up a concrete road being the final stretch up to the property. At the front of the house, there is a space of open land with enough room for a number of vehicles to park. From here there is a large patio area running the full width of the house, allowing for some great outdoor lounging and dining spaces. Additionally, an external staircase leads up to a section of the roof, making a wonderful solarium offering the best of the aforementioned views. The land then stretches around the sides of the property where you will find a shed, utility room accessed from the outside and fish pond.

The house itself is divided into two sections, the main house, consisting of four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and an attached annex that needs completing with a further two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both properties are accessed on the top floor due to the way the property is situated on the side of a hill.

The main entrance to the main house leads directly into a wide entrance hallway that then leads into the different rooms of the house. Directly in front through double doors is the living room, a very spacious room with a feature, log-burning fire and a great view out of the valley below. To the right is the separate dining room, more than large enough for a large dining table and chairs. In the opposite direction, you will find the kitchen, which is a very large room with abundant storage and appliances, as well as room for a further dining space and storage room/pantry.

Heading downstairs is where all the bedrooms and bathrooms of the main section are located, with there being a total of four reasonable sized bedrooms and three bathrooms, with there being two en-suite bathrooms and a family bathroom.

The annex once more is entered on the top floor into a spacious and open room covering the entire upstairs which could be converted into a living space for lounge, dining room and kitchen. Downstairs there are a further two rooms that could become bedrooms, as well as an already fitted bathroom.

Description…
Spanish Property Choice have the pleasure to bring you an opportunity to buy a beautiful, three bedroom, two bathroom semi-detached property that has stunning views of the mountains and countryide.

This property has an abundance of rustic charm with ample space for private parking and enough room for an above-ground pool.

The property is situated in an elevated position within the charming, Spanish village of Barranco de Quiles at the very top of the Rambla de Oria area and a few mnutes drive to the nearby village of Oria where you will find a selection of amenities. The nearest beach is just a hours drive and the bustling town of Albox is 30 minutes drive.

The property is accessed via a private driveway leading to a large space with room for parking. From here, this leads to a number of terraced areas that make the most of the impressive views, as well as offering space for an above-ground pool. These terraces are ideal for outdoor lounging and dining, with a barbecue area being located in the corner of one of the terraces.

The property has two main entrances, one entrance leads into the property via the kitchen whilst the other leads into the living areas.

The kitchen is a very large room with a large window looking out to the mountains and plenty of storage space. Heading up a few steps leads you into an equally large living-dining space, sufficiently so to serve both purposes, with another small staircase leading off of this to the sleeping accommodation of the property. Heading through the living-dining room leads to a winter lounge with large feature fireplace.

The sleeping accommodation of this property consists of three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom, located on one end of the property, benefits from an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and direct access out to the terraced areas. The second bedroom is a very large room, more than sufficient to accommodate a double bed and storage, with the third being a single bedroom. The family bathroom is a very good size, equipped with bathtub.
