Arkadaşlar bu video'da Güneydoğu Anadolu bölgemizin buram buram tarih ve kültür kokan şehirlerimizden Mardin'in güzel ilçesi Nusaybin'e gittim, Nusaybin'i beğeneceğinize eminim, Nusaybin'e gitmeden önce bana rehberlik yapan değerli dostum Oğuz beni Nusaybin'e davet etti, abi gel dedi seni buralarda ben gezdirmek istiyorum dedi, kendisine şükranlarımı sunuyorum.
Oğuz kardeşimle Nusaybin merkezde görüştük ayak üstü selamlaştık çünkü pandemi nedeniyle mekanların tamamı kapalı olduğundan hemen gezintiye çıktık, önce şehir merkezine çok yakın olan iki kutsal mekanı ziyaret ettik bunlardan birisi Peygamber Efendimiz Sav.'in torunlarından birisi olduğu söylenen Zeynel Abidin Hazeretleri'nin cami ve türbesi, diğer kutsal mekan ise Hristiyan Süryani vatandaşlarımız için kutsal olan Mor Yakup Manastırı, her iki mekan maalesef pandemi sürecinden dolayı kapalı olduğundan içerilerine giremedik.
Oğuzla birlikte başladığımız Nusaybin şehir gezimizi çarşı merkezine taşıdık ve çarşı merkezindeki kaçakçılar çarşısına gittik akabinde Ava Sıpi, Ava Spi Türkçesi Beyaz su, beyaz su denilen adeta çölde bir vaha gibi insanlara göğsünü açan mesire ve piknik alanına gittik, doğrusu bu benim ilk gidişim değildi zira bir önceki gidişimden bu yana bir çok şey aşırı değişmiş ve çok güzelleşmişti, buradayken kendimi Mardin Nusaybin'de değilde adeta Karadeniz bölgesinde hissettim, umarım sizler de en kısa zamanda gider bu güzelim yerleri görme şansı bulursunuz, umarım video hoşunuza gider.

Cappadocia, a semi-arid region in central Turkey, is known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Göreme and elsewhere. Other notables sites include Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by troglodytes (cave dwellers) and later used as refuges by early Christians. The 100m-deep Ihlara Canyon houses numerous rock-face churches.
Pamukkale is a town in western Turkey known for the mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down white travertine terraces on a nearby hillside. It neighbors Hierapolis, an ancient Roman spa city founded around 190 B.C. Ruins there include a well-preserved theater and a necropolis with sarcophagi that stretch for 2km. The Antique Pool is famous for its submerged Roman columns, the result of an earthquake.
The Princes’ Islands are a cluster of 9 islands southeast of Istanbul in the Sea of Marmara. Mainly car-free, the islands are known for their horse-drawn carriages (phaetons). At the highest point of Büyükada, the largest island, the 6th-century Hagia Yorgi Church has panoramic views. Nearby are the pine forests of Dil Burnu National Park. The Museum of the Princes’ Islands has exhibits on the islands’ history.

Mardin, Turkey ???????? - Only 10 km from the Syrian border! ????
Mardin is a historical city in the southeast of Turkey. The city is divided in two parts. The old part lies on top of a hill and is known for it´s architecture consisting of stonework. From the citadel you can enjoy endless views to the Mesopotamian plains. I also visited the Deyrulzafaran Monastery there.
As the border of Syria is just a 20 minutes ride from Mardin, I was worried a bit about the safety....So check out what happened in this video!

Mardin, city, capital of Mardin il (province), southeastern Turkey. It lies on the southern slopes of a broad highland that rises to an elevation of 3,450 feet (1,052 metres) and overlooks extensive limestone plateaus. The locality receives more rainfall than the lower plains and has hot summers and cold winters.
A ruined Roman citadel, rebuilt in medieval times, crowns the summit of the highland as evidence of Mardin’s earlier existence as the Marida (Marde, Maride, Merida) of antiquity. Marida was taken by the Seljuq Turks in the late 11th century and was incorporated into the Ottoman Empire by Sultan Selim I in 1516. The Ulu Cami (Great Mosque), dating from the Seljuq period, and the Sultan İsa Medresesi, a religious school built in the 14th century, are still standing.
Mardin is an important regional trading centre on the east-west trade routes of southern Anatolia. It is connected by a branchline with the rail line between Istanbul and Baghdad and is linked by road with Gaziantep (west), Aleppo (southwest, in Syria), Nusaybin (southeast), and Diyarbakır (northeast).
Mardin province, bordered to the south by Syria, is an agricultural area chiefly producing wheat, barley, and sesame. Angora goats are raised for mohair, and there is a small cotton- and woollen-weaving industry. In addition to Turks, the province has large populations of Arabs and Kurds. Area province, 4,973 square miles (12,879 square km). Pop. (2000) city, 65,072; province, 705,098; (2013 est.) city, 86,948; province, 773,026.

Solo girl travel to Mardin
Mardin is a stunning city which I wanted to visit for a long time. And suddenly a week ago I just booked my tickets and went.
The thought of going there made me feel so happy, made me smile for no reason so in advance I thought that this weekend's getaway will be a huge success. It was indeed! The city stole my heart from first sight. It was so much more than I expected. People are beautiful and welcoming, the old town is full of wonderful streets, history, and cultures. I went to the fairy tale and from the first second, I knew I will come back so many times, I will know every little street, I will learn the name of every seller which will tell me an incredible story.

Mardin şehir merkezine 1 saat sürüş mesafesindeki şirin Midyat ilçesi, taş işçiliğinin harika birer örneği olan evleri, dini ve kültürel mirası, labirent şeklindeki dar sokakları, ünlü dizilere ev sahipliği yapan konakları, telkârisi, şarabı, kültür ve sanat sokakları ve Mezopotamya’nın etkileyici manzaraları ile eski bir Süryani kasabası olmaktan çok daha fazlasıdır.
Midyat’a gidildiğinde, ilk olarak Konuk Evi’nin terasında bol bol fotoğraf çekilmeli ve hayranlık uyandıran mimarisi yakından görülmelidir. Tarih, din ve kültür kokan Midyat’ın; alışveriş yapabileceğiniz çarşılara, tarihi konaklara, dizi setlerine, şarap mağazalarına, telkâri dükkanlarına, tarihi Süryani evlerine, manastır ve kiliselere, cami ve müzelere çıkan labirent şeklindeki dar sokakları ziyaretçilerine sayısız keşif seçeneği sunmaktadır.
İlçenin merkezinde bulunan Saat Kulesi’nin çevresindeki herhangi bir sokağa girdiğinizde, bölgenin büyülü geçmişine tanıklık edebileceğiniz çok farklı tarihi konak ve dini merkez ile karşılaşabilirsiniz.
Midyat’ın tarihi sokaklarında yürüyerek çarşılarına da gidilebilir. Baharatçılar, şarap mağazaları, telkâri atölyeleri ve dükkanları, hediyelik eşya dükkanları, yöresel ürün tezgahları, takılar ve çok daha fazlası ile dolu olan Midyat çarşıları, hediyelik eşya alışverişi için de harikadır.
Bu tarihi sokaklarda gezmek isteyen ziyaretçilere faytonla gezi olanağı da sunulmaktadır. Genellikle oteller tarafından işletilen bu faytonları ilçe merkezinden kiralayarak da çevreyi gezmek mümkün. Araba ile ulaşımın zor olduğu Midyat’ta, fayton da oldukça popüler bir ulaşım aracıdır.
Kültür Evi, Estel Han Halk Evi, Hacı Şehmus Mete Konağı da Midyat sokaklarında yürürken keşfedebileceğiniz yerlerdir.
Midyat’ta mutlaka görülmesi gereken tarihi konakların başında Konuk Evi gelmektedir. Sıla dizisinin çekildiği konak olması ile de turistlerin ilgisini çeken bu konak, harika taş işliği ile de görenleri kendine hayran bırakmaktadır.
Konuk Evi’nin avlusu ve cumba benzeri balkonu, özellikle fotoğraf çekmek ve çektirmek isteyen ziyaretçilerden büyük ilgi görmektedir. Konağın terasına çıkıldığında ise, Mezopotamya bölgesinin muhteşem manzaraları eşliğinde gün batımının tadı çıkarılabilir.
Mor Gabriel Manastırı (Deyrulumur Manastırı) Midyat ilçesinin 23 kilometre güneydoğusunda bulunmaktadır. Manastır, Süryani Kadim Cemaati'nin ünlü ve büyük yapıtlarından biridir. Meşe ağaçları ile kaplı yüksekçe bir tepede yapılmıştır. Manastırın temelleri Mor Şmuel ile Mor Şemun tarafından 397 yılında atılmış ve yapı kısa sürede tamamlanmıştır. Değişik tarihlerde içine ve dışına ekler yapılmıştır.
