The Beauty of Galicia - 4K Aerial Video from the North of Spain
Galicia, an autonomous community in Spain’s northwest, is a verdant region with an Atlantic coastline. The cathedral of regional capital Santiago de Compostela is the reputed burial place of the biblical apostle Saint James the Great, and the destination for those following the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. The western cliffs of Cape Finisterre were considered by the Romans to be the end of the known world.
Another stunnig place in this video is the beautiful Praia Mar de Fóra beach, the Cascada del Ezaro waterfall or the Beach of Cathedrals - a spectacular example of the raw power of nature! Natural arches, some as high as 30 metres and cave systems have all been formed by the Cantabrian Sea.

Nos cuenta Julio Verne que era en esta ciudad en la que el Capitán Nemo guardaba su mayor secreto, además de ser el lugar donde venía para aprovisionarse de enormes riquezas ocultas en los antiguos galeones sumergidos. Esta parte de Veinte mil leguas de un viaje submarino guarda su fundamento en la realidad, pues en verdad bajo las aguas de Vigo yacen muchos galeones que antaño cargaban el oro de América. Pero bueno, este no es el único encanto de Vigo.

El rio Miño entra orgulloso en el Océano Atlántico saludando a España en una orilla y a Portugal en otra y se mezcla con esas grandiosas aguas atlánticas.
Siempre me oísteis decir que cada sitio tiene su encanto así me lo demostraban los sitios por donde estuve por esos lares, pero cuando conocí A Guarda (Pontevedra) me sorprendió, por más que miraba ese pueblo más me gustaba de lejos parecía un cuadro pintado y desde el Monte Tecla más me sorprendió.
Mirar la grandiosidad del Océano es un placer para los sentidos también, bueno intente captarlo todo os meto fotos pronto los videos de este bello paisaje español.

I have heard always say that each site has its charm me so showing the places where I was for those dollars, but when I met A Guarda (Pontevedra) I was surprised, even watching that town more I liked from afar looked like a painted picture and from Mount Tecla more I surprised me.
Watching the grandeur of the Ocean is a pleasure for the senses as well, good try to take it all I put my pictures soon videos of this beautiful Spanish landscape.

Bayona is a municipality integrated into the Metropolitan Area of Vigo and which belongs to the province of Pontevedra, in Galicia. It limits to the north with the Atlantic Ocean and the municipality of Nigrán, to the south with that of Oya, to the east with those of Gondomar and Tomiño and to the west with the Atlantic Ocean and the municipality of Oya. It belongs to the Valle Miñor region (Val Miñor in Galician).
In it is the Castle of Monterreal, which currently serves as a National Parador. It is of great historical importance, since on March 1, 1493, Martín Alonso Pinzón arrived on the Bayonne coast after his trip to America, making this town the first in Europe to hear the news of the discovery of the New World. For this reason, on the first weekend of March, a medieval festival called La Arribada is celebrated in the historic center of Bayonne.
Between 1519 and 1522, Diego Carmena Gallego and Vasco Gómez Gallego, born in Bayonne, were part of the survivors of the Magellan-Elcano Expedition, thus becoming the first to circumnavigate the Earth.

Bayona (Baiona oficialmente en gallego) es un municipio integrado en el Área Metropolitana de Vigo, parte de la provincia de Pontevedra. A unos 35min en auto desde Vigo, lo cual la hace un punto para visitar en esta zona de Galicia.

Under Muslim rule, its name was Narixa, which means abundant source and is the origin of the current name.
