Indiana may be best known for its obsession with sports (and limestone) but what may not be in the public domain is that the Midwestern state has one of the lowest cost of living in the United States.
A dollar stretches a long way here, longer than it would in 41 states.

By far, one of my favorite waterfronts along the Ohio River! With miles of paved walking trails, lined with iron fencing, beautiful views of the water, and amazing sunsets, it’s definitely worth a visit. It’s the perfect destination for strollers, wheelchairs and just taking in some sun on a nice day!
Notable places to see: Newburgh Dam and locks, the old Dam and Lock building, downtown waterfront, Little Red Brick building, amphitheater, Lockmaster cottages, trendy / historic downtown, historic State Street residences.
Also of note: Newburgh is the childhood home of actor Michael Rosenbaum, whom graduated from Castle High School. He played the part of Lex Luther, for the Superman based TV series, “Smallville”.
