Novopolotsk, also spelled Navapolatsk or Navapolack, is a city in Belarus. It is located in the Vitebsk Region, near the border with Latvia. The city is situated on the Dvina River, and is an important industrial center in the region. It is the site of one of the largest chemical plants in the country, which produces fertilizers and other chemical products. Navapolatsk also has a railway station, which connects the city to other parts of Belarus and to neighboring countries. The population of Navapolatsk as of 2020 was around 128,000 people.

Elie Mubenga, a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, came to Belarusian town of Navapolatsk to learn the Russian language. He is a true polyglot; he speaks seven languages and is passionate about Belarusian flowers.
The guy dreamt of visiting Belarusian banya (sauna), but the Navapolatsk public bath house turned out to be closed... Having learned that Elie's birthday was coming soon, our crew decided to spring a surprise on him. They covered 200 kilometres taking Elie to Vileyka Reservoir where a festival of mobile bath was being held.

Нахожу забавным что есть так много древних городов с приставкой ново в названии как например Новогрудок. Я давно хотел попасть в прошлое , оказалось для этого не нужна машина времени , достаточно поехать в Новогрудок .
Новогрудок в моим представлении это был какой-то отдоленный город, где тебе предлагают посмотреть на руины замка. Да непростые руины, это руины замка которому через 20 стукнет тысяча лет, это руины из которых Беларусь и Литва , появились как государство на мировой арене.Но это всё равно руины. А тут столько всего интересного что обалдеть
Новогрудок — город в Гродненской области Беларуси, административный центр Новогрудского района.
Расположен на Новогрудской возвышенности, до Минска — 149 км.
В прошлом — один из главных политических и культурных центров Великого княжества Литовского. В городе расположен Новогрудский замок.
