Kachin State in the northern part of Myanmar is the birthplace of Ayeyarwady river. The State is well-known for its abundance of jade and gold and also for having the highest mountain in South East Asia, Khakaborazi.
The city, Myitkyina is a highly region on the bank of Ayeyarwady river. It is also a rail-way terminal city and many national races reside there. You can see farmlands and gardens cultivated on the silt land along the Ayeyarwady River.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! An incredible sight to behold, solid gold plated and standing at over 105m tall it really is an incredible sight. Next we walk the streets of Yangon seeing some of the markets and stumbling across a 19th Century church. These are some of the best things to do in Yangon, Myanmar and a few reasons why Myanmar is a must visit destination!

THE most amazing waterfalls I've EVER experienced is off the beaten path in Northern Myanmar's Shan state. Water water all around, to swim in, walk on, jump into. What an adventure!
Northern Shan State (near the town of Lashio in Myanmar) is seldom visited by foreign travellers, but has some fantastic unspoiled nature. If you have a sense of adventure then this is definitely for you, and Myanmar is one of the most amazing countries to travel in. Well worth making the effort to get there.

I visited the night market on weekend and I saw beautiful, lovely scenes. So I created this video to let you see how it is impressive.
Myitkyina is the capital city of Kachin State and is full of loads of panoramic views. Normally, people just know Yangon or Mandalay if they hear about Myanmar.
Nevertheless, Northern Myanmar is also a wonderful city that is organized with authentic scenes and gorgeous buildings. It's a peaceful place with a heap of ethnic groups as well.

Shwe Myintzu Pagoda is the largest tourist site in Indawgyi. It is home to one of the four floating pagodas in Myanmar and attracts upwards of 150,000 people yearly to its annual festival. If you have never been to a pagoda festival in Myanmar, it is a combination of serious ritual and prayers along with a great time featuring shopping, an incredible array of food, and often carnival rides.
