Yerköprü Şelalesi, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı Doğa koruma ve Milli Parklar Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından Türkiye’de koruma altına alınan 94 tabiat anıtı ağacın yanı sıra tabii ve tabiat olaylarının meydana getirdiği özelliklere sahip 8 ayrı tabiat parçasından biridir. Şelale, 03 Mayıs 2011 tarihinde Tabiat Anıtı olarak tescillenmiştir. Ermenek Çayı üzerinde bulunan Yerköprü Şelalesi’ni görenler hayran kalmaktadır.
Mut ilçe merkezine 35 kilometre uzaklıktaki şelaleyle ilgili uzmanların yaptığı araştırmada, 110 milyon yıl önce Kretase (Tebeşir Dönemi) yaşlı kireçtaşlarının faydalanması sonucunda çok dar bir kaynak suyun varlığıyla ortaya çıktığı belirtilmektedir. Yaklaşık 30 metre yükseklikten akan şelalenin, kendisini oluşturan 200 metre uzunluğunda, 10 metre genişliğinde ve tabanı 10-15 metre derinliğinde göl olan su tünelinin içerisindeyse doğallığı bozulmamış sarkıt ve zengin bitki örtüsü yer almaktadır. En etkili yerlerden biri olan ve köprü görevini gören mağaranın Gezende Barajı’ndan gelen suyla beslenmesi ve kayanın dibindeki gözden çıkan suyun birleşme yerindeki hareketlilik beraberinde serinliği getirmektedir. #yerköprüşelalesi #mersin #mut

Mediterranean, Turkey | City of Antalya, Mersin, Hatay, Adana | Drone 4k video | Cities of Turkey

Mediterranean, Turkey. Scrolling through the pages of Instagram about travel and beautiful places, as well as videos on YouTube, shot in good 4K quality, an irresistible desire immediately arises to fly to a warm country, namely Turkey, because there are so many colorful videos shot from a drone about its sea coast, and bird's eye view.

general information
The Mediterranean region of Turkey is the southern part with the best resort areas, where beaches are closely intertwined with the highlands (Taurus Mountains), and coniferous zones. Of course, tourism infrastructure prevails in this region, the economy is actively developing in the field of buying real estate, and agriculture is also developed. Locals and everyone who understands tourism call this place Turkish Riviera due to the turquoise sea, clean beaches and beautiful scenery.

Main city of the region
According to the actively developing tourism, the main city is Antalya - the place where the best real estate is concentrated, the nightlife is active, and the central point from which it is convenient to get to various resort towns in Turkey. Antalya also offers gorgeous beaches and archaeological, historical sites for guests. If you look at the population, then the largest city in the region is Adana, and the city where the largest mosque in all of Turkey, Sabanci, was built.

Beaches
The Mediterranean coast of Turkey is famous for its Blue Flag beaches, as well as offering guests all kinds of amenities and luxurious recreation areas. It is worth highlighting the beaches of Mersin - a strip of golden sandy beaches, with a gentle entrance to the transparent, clear sea, tourists like Kyzkalesi most of all, near the ancient town of Korikos. On the coast of the city of Hatay, the best pebbly atmospheric beaches are especially worth highlighting Chevlik - the longest in all of Turkey and is famous for its shallow water.
In the area of the city of Antalya, it is necessary to highlight such beaches that are worthy of the attention of tourists: Lara - a sandy recreation area, Konyalti - one of the main beaches of Antalya, surrounded by coniferous parks, and the center of nightlife.

Nature (landscapes, beautiful places)
Absolutely the entire coast of Turkey is a chic protected area with rich vegetation, wildlife that tourists can observe in specially organized tourist programs.

Main cities: Antalya, Mersin, Hatay, Adana
Antalya is a colorful city with wide, gently sloping beaches and historical sights. A city with a lot of atmospheric places, and upscale hotels that offer holidays for every taste.
Mersin is a coastal town where the construction of apartments and apartments for sale to foreign guests is actively developing, but also beautiful promenades, walking areas with shady palm trees.
Hatay is a fairly rich city in terms of valuable historical monuments, and can compete with Istanbul, but at the same time, the province has many picturesque bays and lagoons for a quiet, secluded vacation.
Adana is first of all an industrial and then a tourist city, which is developing at a fairly fast pace. Tourists like to come here not for the sake of the sea, but for leisurely autumn walks and cheap shopping.

What to see?
In Antalya, you should pay attention to the city itself and its mosques: Iskele and Tekeli, the Ottoman mosque. Walk through Ataturk Park - an area that combines the Old City and its new part with hotels. Karaalioglu is a park where many exotic citrus trees, shrubs grow, and tourists can walk along shady paths.
Mersin - there are many interesting places that tourists can see on their own: narrow atmospheric streets with various restaurants with local cuisine. Particular attention can be paid to the castle in the sea - Kizkalesi, where tourists come to listen to traditional legends. Go to a restaurant serving a unique blue crab - “Genghis Place”.

Attractions
Attractions of Antalya: the ancient city of Aspendos (an amazing city of the Byzantine era), Termessos is the only largest area that has survived in the form of ruins to this day. Mount Chimera and the town of Olympos - dating back to the 3rd century BC, but still fraught with a lot of historical data.
In Mersin, it is worth going to the caves of Hell and Paradise, where, overcoming a difficult but interesting route, you can really get to paradise, to a mountain spring, and a beautiful panoramic square. Yerkepru Waterfall - a powerful stream of water flows down natural stalactites covered with moss from 30 meters. The waterfall is immersed in the greenery of Mut National Park.

FULL Day of Solo Travel + Kurdish People ???????? Mardin, Turkey | Southeast Turkey Travel Vlog (Ep. 19)

Ever wonder what it's like to travel alone in a foreign country for a day? In this Turkey travel vlog, I show you everything that happens to me in a single day. This is a long video. I traveled from Diyarbakir to Mardin. Mardin is considered to be a part of modern-day Mesopotamia.

Not all travel is perfect. There are many ups and downs. Luckily, this day was a lot of fun and I met a lot of kind people. The crazy kids who wanted my phone were rather rude at the end. I couldn't show you this because my camera battery died...so you didn't get to see the full interaction.

Anyway, solo travel is the best kind of travel in my opinion. I wouldn't trade it for anything!

What do you think? Do you enjoy the long-form videos where I show you everything? ????

I'm Sick in Turkey + Hotel Tour ???????? | Solo Travel Turkey | Ahlat Travel Vlog (Ep. 22)

Well, I guess it's bound to happen sooner or later. I fell ill while traveling in Ahlat, Turkey. I must have ate or drank something unclean - either from bacteria or other contaminants in the water. I'm not entirely sure.

Hopefully I will feel better in the next 24 hours or so..

Turkiye has been very challenging to be vegan in, but Istanbul is in a world of it's own!! The vegan scene in this city is absolutely incredible! In today's video we wanted to highlight some of the best places we have been to during our time here. Hopefully no matter where you are in Istanbul you can find somewhere delicious to try for food. Istanbul is our final stop in Turkey, and it has definitely been a stop to remember. We have jam packed so much in that we’ve even decided to dedicate an entire other video to all the food we ate during our time here. Vanlife in Turkey has been wonderful, our last three months have been incredible, and we really couldn’t think of a better way to end it than a vegan food tour of Istanbul.

We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. So after waiting for six months for the borders to reopen in Ireland we have finally hit the road in June 2021 and spent 90 days enjoying van life in Spain. Then we spent the next two months enjoying vanlife in Croatia before heading onto Serbia which stole our hearts. Now we have journeyed from there into Turkey where we are meeting lots of fellow vanlifers.

Canakkale Turkey 4K: Trojan Horse & Naval Museum Part 2

Canakkale Turkey 4K: Trojan Horse & Naval Museum Part 2

I was in Çanakkale back in September. On my final full day, I went to see the famous Trojan Horse that was used in the movie Troy.

Also, I had a chance to check out the impressive Naval Museum which exceeded my expectations. I ended the day with a ferry ride back to Gallipoli.

Çanakkale is a fascinating place to travel to as it's immersed in history. In addition to this, I feel it's a wonderful place to visit as a tourist due to how immaculate it is and how the weather and surrounding sea makes it an ideal place to visit.

I highly recommend you watch part 1 of my trip in Çanakkale. Check it out via this link:

Was Noah Actually a GIANT!? ???? (Noah's Ark) ???????? | Solo Travel Cizre | Turkey Travel Vlog (Ep. 20)

I visited the gravesite of Noah (from Noah's Ark)! I didn't even know there was a gravesite for Noah until I arrived at my hotel! I traveled from Mardin to Cizre, Turkey. Cizre is located directly on the border with Syria. Cizre is part of Mesopotamia.

One thing particularly interesting about the casket is that it's absolutely massive! I would guess about 15 feet long! So was Noah a Giant? Or did the government just randomly put a normal sized man in a abundantly large casket for some other reason? This situation seems a bit peculiar! Anyway, I will let you decide.

Besides Noah, I got a chance to explore Cizre, and met a lot of local people. All of which, I needed to use use my translator to communicate. It's so much fun!

I had to navigate through local transportation, met and talked with my kind hotel staff, met a man at lunch with the same name as me, walked around the castle of Cizre, talked with some kids selling corn, watched an old man accidently hit his grandson with a fishing net, walked to the river, met some kids selling cotton candy, had some nasty lemonade with milk, and walked in another park during the sunset. Definitely a cool day!

From START to FINISH | My Amazing Cappadocia Balloon Ride | Turkey Travel Vlog ???????? (Ep. 7)

In today's turkey travel vlog, I will show you one of the best things to do in Cappadocia - ride on a hot air balloon! This experience is definitely once in a lifetime.

Out of all the places in the world to fly in a hot air balloon, Goreme has definitely got to be among one of the best. The sunrise peeking up over the incredibly unique landscape is truly one of a kind!

My alarm went off at about 3:40am to meet my buddy Damon at his hotel by 4am. Then, the bus came to pick us up to take us to the field where the balloon was waiting for us (and a hundred more).

It wasn't more than 15 minutes from getting out of the van to launching in the air. Very efficient.

I was so focused on getting footage with my 3 cameras that I didn't have time to track our route. I do know, however, that we eventually went past Cavusin and Love Valley.

Eventually we landed out in a field where so many other balloons were landing as well. That was also a magical sight to behold.

All around, this was a wonderful experience and honestly feel that is definitely one of the best things to do in Cappadocia.

A special thanks to Damon for making this trip and video possible! ????????

MUT YERKÖPRÜ ŞELALESİ

Mut ilçe merkezine 35 kilometre uzaklıktaki şelaleyle ilgili uzmanların yaptığı araştırmada, 110 milyon yıl önce Kretase (Tebeşir Dönemi) yaşlı kireçtaşlarının faydalanması sonucunda çok dar bir kaynak suyun varlığıyla ortaya çıktığı belirtilmektedir. Yaklaşık 30 metre yükseklikten akan şelalenin, kendisini oluşturan 200 metre uzunluğunda, 10 metre genişliğinde ve tabanı 10-15 metre derinliğinde göl olan su tünelinin içerisindeyse doğallığı bozulmamış sarkıt ve zengin bitki örtüsü yer almaktadır. En etkili yerlerden biri olan ve köprü görevini gören mağaranın Gezende Barajı’ndan gelen suyla beslenmesi ve kayanın dibindeki gözden çıkan suyun birleşme yerindeki hareketlilik beraberinde serinliği getirmektedir.
