Piscina natural ideal en el norte de Gran Canaria
El norte de Gran Canaria está salpicado de numerosos charcos, pero, si se pasa por el de San Lorenzo, en Moya, seguro que se para. Dos amplias piscinas naturales de grandes dimensiones habilitadas por el hombre le regalarán el placer oceánico sin riesgos de oleaje. Además, sus servicios, los restaurantes y su cercanía a la autopista convierten la parada casi en obligada si, además, se atiende a que se dispone de zona con arena, algo no muy habitual en esta comarca.

Si la presencia de arena refuerza los atractivos infantiles, las duchas, vestuarios, aseos, escaleras, aparcamientos y restaurantes de pescado se convierten en una ensalada ideal para toda la familia, aliñada de sol y sal marina. La piscina mayor cuenta con 75 metros de largo y 45 de ancho y su profundidad y la roca volcánica que la acompaña en ciertas zonas permiten los lanzamientos de cabeza, que rompen por unos segundos el inevitable sosiego que propicia este rincón cristalino e inolvidable.

Esta ruta consiste en un sendero de baja dificultad, que puede hacerse fácilmente en familia y con mascotas.
El atractivo de este sendero es que se encuentra dentro del Parque Rural de Doramas y cuenta con un bosque de Laurisilva y Tilos, que hacen que nada más llegar al lugar puedas disfrutar de unas hermosas vistas, grandes montañas teñidas de verdes.
