Spain officially the Kingdom of Spain](Spanish: Reino de España), is a country in Southwestern Europe with some pockets of territory across the Strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean. Its continental European territory is situated on the Iberian Peninsula. Its territory also includes two archipelagos: the Canary Islands off the coast of North Africa, and the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. The African enclaves of Ceuta, Melilla, and Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera make Spain the only European country to have a physical border with an African country (Morocco). Several small islands in the Alboran Sea are also part of Spanish territory. The country's mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea; to the north and northeast by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean respectively.

While we couldn’t hope to cover all the great things in Madrid in this video, we decided to throw in a few of our favorite attractions. Plus a couple that are slightly off the beaten path. We take a look at some of the big tourist spots like the Royal Palace. It was once the home of Spanish Kings. These days it’s more about hosting official state ceremonies and attracting tourists. So that means you have a chance to walk around this glorious, 3000-room structure to see how the Kings used to live. Then there’s the Prado, Reine Sofia, and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums, which act as the “golden triangle of art” in Madrid. In all, they house more masterpieces than you can see in a day. Art lovers will certainly love Spain!
We talk about the Bernabeu Stadium, which is the home to the world powerhouse soccer team, Real Madrid. You should, at the least, tour the stadium. And if you can snag tickets to a game, it’ll be an unforgettable experience. We also talk about a couple of lesser-known spots like the Crystal Palace, which sits inside the stunning Buen Retiro Park, and is a work of art in itself, and the ‘Rocker Grandma,’ a bronze statue that memorializes a local rock legend who, at age 70, began going to a ton of heavy metal concerts. We present this stunning Tuscan style villa of 3500 m2 in the
heart of La Moraleja, on a plot of over 10,000 m2. This

This plaza bordered by historic buildings was a central area of the city during medieval times. The Plaza de la Villa is a square located in the center of Madrid , next to Calle Mayor .
In the square are the main facades of three buildings of great historical and artistic value: the House and the Torre de los Lujanes , a building style Gothic - Mudejar of the fifteenth century which is located on the eastern side of the square, the Casa de Cisneros , a palace plateresque of the sixteenth century which is located in the southern part of the square, and the Casa de la Villa , a baroque building of the seventeenth century , which is located in the west and is one of the City Hall of Madrid offices.
The intimate Plaza de la Villa is one of Madrid’s prettiest. Enclosed on three sides by wonderfully preserved examples of 17th-century barroco madrileño (Madrid-style baroque architecture – a pleasing amalgam of brick, exposed stone and wrought iron), it was the permanent seat of Madrid’s city government from the Middle Ages until recent years, when Madrid’s city council relocated to the grand Palacio de Cibeles on Plaza de la Cibeles.
On the western side of the square is the 17th-century former ayuntamiento (town hall), in Habsburg-style baroque with Herrerian slate-tile spires. On the opposite side of the square is the Gothic Casa de los Lujanes, whose brickwork tower is said to have been ‘home’ to the imprisoned French monarch François I after his capture in the Battle of Pavia (1525). The plateresque (15th- and 16th-century Spanish baroque) Casa de Cisneros, built in 1537 with later Renaissance alterations, also catches the eye.
