4. Driving through the City of Glasgow, during Covid Lockdown: Through Ibrox and Govan & west
From late October to mid November 2021, the City of Glasgow is going to be the centre of the worlds stage hosting the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) on 31 October – 12 November 2021. Come along for the drive and see the real Glasgow of 2021.
A drive through Glasgow (Scotland's largest city)during Lockdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Incredibly quiet streets in the city centre, offering a better view of the city than normally possible. The whole drive in four parts starts beyond the eastern boundary of Glasgow around Moodiesburn then onwards across the city centre towards George Square. After leaving the north side of the city we pass over the Kingston bridge and drive through the southside of the city, through Ibrox and Govan before completing at the western boundary of Renfrew.
Part 4: Is a drive along the Southside of the city starting at Paisley Road and continuing along the Paisley Road West passing through Ibrox and Govan before reaching the western City Boundary at Renfrew.

Other Parts;
Part 1: Starting at Condorrat we follow the A80 on through Moodiesburn, Chryston, Stepps, Millerston and onwards to the Hogganfield loch.
Part 2: Continuing alongside Hogganfield loch and the Seven Lochs Wetland Park, we drive along the A80 through Blackhill, Cranhill and Haghill and then onwards to the east end of the city at Parkhead.
Part 3: From the east end of the city we continue along the Gallowgate towards the city centre, passing the famous Barrowland Ballroom and Glasgow's iconic street market The Barras.
We then continue along the Gallowgate and London Road to the Trongate, before ascending High Street.
Next its onto Ingram Street to enter the heart of the city and George Square.
On leaving George square we return to Ingram Street taking us past the famous Glasgow landmark of The Duke of Wellingtons Statue with his famous traffic cone hat!
We then continue along St Vincent Street towards Blythswood Street and onwards to the southside of the city over the Kingston Bridge towards Paisley Road West.

Cycling: Lochs and Glens South Day 1 - Carlisle to Kirkcudbright
We cycled from Carlisle to Glasgow on the Lochs and Glens South route. We were unsupported for the ride and used seat packs and frame bags to carry our equipment.
The ride was 211 miles over 3 days. This video is day 1 of the trip. we cycled from Carlisle, through Gretna towards Annan. We then headed towards Dumfries then Castle Douglas and over to Kirkcudbright were we stayed that night. Day 1 was all on road and cycle paths, day 2 two takes through the Galloway Forest with 20-25 miles of off road riding.
*Please note the route was on road and cycle paths at no point are we cycling on pavements.*
We planned our Bikepacking adventure using the Sustrans Cycle Network maps -

I have captured all of the footage whilst riding the route with a combination of handheld cameras and GoPros.

A9 To Perth 1
Earlier part of the run down the A9 Inverness to Perth road (109 miles) selected at random because it has most things going for it and some ace scenery. Part of the 450mile return leg from Inverness to Cannock, having competed in the Baxters River Ness 10k the day before. Great weekend and missing it already .
