Tiny Tour | Montserrat Spain | A 1000 year old Monastery in the mountains 2020
Hi guys, today we visited the monastery of Santa María de Montserrat (in Catalan , Monestir de Santa Maria de Montserrat ). it is a Benedictine abbey located in the mountain of Montserrat , belongs to the region of Bages, in the province of Barcelona, at a height of 720 meters above the level of the sea. It is a symbol for Catalonia and has become a pilgrimage point for believers and a must for tourists.
In 1025, Oliba, Abbot of Ripoll and Bishop of Vic, together founded a new monastery at the hermitage of Santa Maria de Montserrat. The little monastery soon began to receive pilgrims and visitors who contributed to the spread of stories of miracles and wonders performed by the Virgin.
In 1409 the monastery of Montserrat became an independent abbey. From 1493 to 1835, a period in which the monastery underwent great reforms, growing and increasing in splendour, Montserrat was part of the Valladolid Congregation.

Tenemos que destacar que Tarrasa es una de las ciudades pioneras de la revolución industrial en España por lo cual durante nuestro recorrido descubriremos numerosas fabricas, industrias textiles, chimeneas, etc.
A uns vint quilòmetres de Barcelona, a la comarca del Vallès Occidental, trobem Terrassa, una població que actualment compta amb un ric patrimoni que ha marcat la seva història. Durant el nostre recorregut podemos tropar-nos ams importants exemples d'estils artístics i períodes molt variats, entre els quals destaquen el romà, romànic, gòtic i modernista. Wir waren in Barcelona in der Stadt Matadepera.
Matadepera ist eine katalanische Stadt in der Provinz Barcelona im Nordosten Spaniens.
Diesesmal waren wir zu acht unterwegs und hatten uns eine Finca gemietet ( Finca Catalunya Casas ). Die meiste zeit enspannten wir einfach oder schauten ab und an in Barcelona vorbei.

Driving in Catalunya #015: Matadepera - Talamanca (Coll d'Estenalles) [4K]
???????????? Una carretera que podríem dividir en dues parts. La primera és la pujada de Matadepera al coll d'Estenalles i la segona és la baixada fins a Talamanca per una carretera que sembla que a banda i banda estigui coberta per un mar de boscos. És un clàssic i teníem moltes ganes de compartir-la tot i que el vídeo no fa justícia a les magnífiques vistes que es poden gaudir a banda i banda de la carretera.
A banda de trobar-vos una carretera preciosa també podreu aprofitar per fer excursionisme doncs travessem el Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac, observareu que hi ha força aparcaments i que, al punt de coronar el Coll d'Estenalles, una miqueta abans hi ha un edifici que abans era una caseta de peons caminers i que ara és un Centre d'Informació.
Conduïu amb prudència i gaudiu del paisatge, si ens voleu dir als comentaris si us ha agradat ens alegrareu el dia.
???????????? A road that we could divide into two parts. The first is the ascent from Matadepera to the Estenalles pass and the second is the descent to Talamanca by a road that seems to be covered on both sides by a sea of forests. It’s a classic and we were really looking forward to share it even though the video doesn’t do justice to the magnificent views that can be enjoyed on both sides of the road.
Apart from finding a beautiful road, you can also take the opportunity to go hiking as it crosses the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac Natural Park, you will notice that there are many car parks and that, at the point of crowning the Coll d'Estenalles, there is an Information Center.
Drive carefully and enjoy the scenery, comment the video and make us happy!!
