Florida Parks: Explore Florida Caverns State Park
Explore underground dry caverns -- the only tour of its type in Florida. It features formations that are about 38 million years old. Stunning stalagmites, stalactites, rimstone pools (one is shaped like South America), and soda straws are just a few types of other-worldly creations in the caves. Another cool thing about the cavern tour on a hot summer day is that the temperature stays about 65 degrees naturally, so take a break and beat the heat.

Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail | Marianna, FL | Hiking a Haunted/Abandoned Trail
Hello Explorers! In this video we continue our trek through Marianna, Florida as we check out a supposed haunted trail. We sought the Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail to see if we could scope out the historic and alleged haunted sight. When we decided to seek this area, we were worried we would not be able to find it. However, there were markers and a parking lot to indicate where the historic sight was located. The bridge is the oldest of its kind and is said to be one of the 10 oldest in Florida. Come check out this short video as we seek this piece of history!

Hello Explorers! In the next segment of our southern road trip, we visit the Florida Caverns State Park in Marianna, FL. This place was awesome! We took a tour into the caverns and had a blast with our tour guide, Hunter! He taught us many things about the history, formations and fossils that one could find in the caverns. The park itself was so huge we had to split the video into two parts. This piece only focuses on our trip into the caverns. Come along as we explore this amazing subterranean place!

Jackson Blue Spring - Marianna, Florida
Jackson Blue Spring (also called Blue Springs) is the only first magnitude spring not only in the Chipola River Basin, but in the entire larger Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin. It is also the first stop on Jackson County Spanish Heritage Trail, a unique 150 mile driving tour through Jackson County, Florida.
Airbnb on a Bridge | Marianna, FL | Road Trip | Chipola River
Hi Explorers! In this video we show the first place we stay on our road trip through the south-eastern United States. We stayed in an Airbnb in Marianna, FL, which butted up against the Chipola river. The cool thing about this place was that it was moved from miles away on to the spot in which it currently resides. Better still, it was placed on the old highway 90 route which was a bridge that spanned the Chipola river during the Civil War! At some point, it was burned to prevent passage from the Union area into the south. The remnants of the old bridge are still visible to this day and the back porch to this cottage is actually still supported by part of it! Come check out this piece of history!
