Every year, Tucson, Arizona, attracts a wide range of travelers thanks to its variety of things to see and do. If you’re hoping to get a closer look at the Arizona desert, spending a day or so exploring the nearby Saguaro National Park is a must. We also highly recommend lacing up your hiking shoes and going out for a vigorous stroll through the hiking trails at Sabino Canyon.
For a break from the summer heat, a visit to the climate-controlled Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum provides visitors with an eye-opening look at Tucson’s flora and fauna. To get a taste of what contemporary Tucson is like, browsing through the numerous art galleries in the Catalina Foothills is a great place to start.
If you want to meet up with locals while enjoying a pint or two, mingling with the University of Arizona students at the bars found around Tucson’s historic Fourth Avenue district is an excellent way to get to know the area’s younger crowd.
