Les habitants de Mampong célèbrent Hump et cette cérémonie a généralement lieu en septembre / octobre. Hum est l'un des nombreux festivals du Ghana qui voient la participation de personnes de tous horizons, y compris de la diaspora.

Pendant de nombreuses décennies, le Festival Ohum est un élément de base de l'expression culturelle colorée, vibrante et diversifiée du Ghana, réunissant des personnes de tous horizons pour célébrer les thèmes de la victoire, de la gratitude et de la récolte, dans l'unité.

A 4K road travel from Twifo Hemang in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District to Twifo Praso via Twifo Mampong , Twifo Aduabeng and Twifo Ntafrewaso in the Twifo Atti Morkwa District in the Central Region of Ghana.

Driving from the Home is Home Guest House , we branched onto the R82 Cape Coast Twifo Praso road and passed the Twifo Hemang Market and Twifo Hemang Basic school, St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Twifo Hemang Senior High school, Shalom Children Care school complex, Holy Spirit Preparatory School ,Twifo Aduabeng Basic school, Twifo Oil Palm Plantations (TOPP) Head Office, Ntafrewaso Junior High School, Oil Palm Outgrowers Association, TOPP Guest House, Talent Hotel, Sonturk Supermarket Limited and the Twifo Praso Market.

There is an Oil Palm Plantation along the road from Twifo Hemang to Twifo Praso.

Twifo is one of the states established by the Akan when they first settled in the Adansi forest. Later the Akan kept migrating southward toward the coast, where they took over considerable area. By the beginning of the 16th century, European sources noted the state of Twifo, said to be rich in gold; they described it as near the forest area with a capital known as Hemang. These Akan brought their gold to the coastal area to sell and were known by the Europeans by variant names because they brought the finest gold. The people also became known as Twifo.

A 4K video rain road drive Mampong town in the Akuapem North Municipal from Obosomase and Tutu in the Eastern Region of Ghana on the N4 Accra Koforidua road.

Akuapim-Mampong is a town in the Akuapim North district of the Eastern Region of Ghana. It shares boundaries with Mamfe .It is famous for being the first place cocoa was planted in Ghana by Tetteh Quarshie.

A 1772 Dutch report included the name Mampo (Mampong) in their records. This indicates that Mampong had been founded before 1772. The name Mampong might have been taken from the Shai village, Mankpon. Another tradition indicated that early settlers, after defeating an invading Asante army moved from an old settlement to a new one – the Damti shrine neighborhood. In jubilation, they uttered the Akan words Yɛabedu ha yi de, yɛapɔn Meaning, so far so good! Constant use of that phrase evolved to become Mampong.

The People of Mampong celebrate Ohum Festival.

Akuapim-Mampong is the home Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine. The center conducts research in the use of plant medicine in the cure of various ailments.Mampong is also known for its Special education for the deaf (Mampong Senior Technical School for the Deaf and the Presbyterian Senior High school.

There is also the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital.

Akuapim North Municipal District is one of the thirty-three districts in Eastern Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988 when it was known as Akuapim North District, which was created from the former Akuapim District Council; until it was elevated to municipal district assembly status on 15 March 2012 to become Akuapim North Municipal District.

A 4K video drive tour from Kumasi Adukrom Adenyase to Ayigya Adukrom via Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

From Adukrom Adenyase on the Asokore Mampong Road and opposite the Adukrom Presby church and Adukrom JHS, we drove and Passed the Ghalco house at Sepe Tinpom to the Nextbon Gas and Asonaba Goil Gas station facing the Asokore Mampong R/C Primary and jhs before branching onto the Sepet Timpong Asokore Mampong road.

We continued the drive from the Asokore R/C Primary and passed infront of the Kumasi Academy Senior High school, the Asokore Mampong Police station and branched right onto the Boakye Asaamu Avenue facing the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Continuing on the Boakye Asaamu Avenue , we passed infront of Asokore Mampong Rural Bank and the Academy Clinic.

Branching right onto the Boakye-Ansah Debrah Rd, we passed infront of Brilliant International school and the Zen Gas station.

Driving onto the Asokore Mampong Ayigya road, we passed infront of the CBS Supreme Industries Ltd, Royal Foam Ghana, Central University Kumasi Campus, Calvary Charismatic Centre church Headquarters.

Branching right onto the Dr AA Amofa Avenue, we passed infront of the Paradise Earth Educational Centre and KNUST Police station at Ayigya before ending the journey.

A 4K video drive of Parkoso Town and Aprade Town from Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

From Asonaba Goil Filling station, we veered onto the Asokore mampong road facing the Asokore Mampong Primary and JHS, Kumasi Academy , Asokore Mampong Police station, The Asokore Hene's statue , the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Full Gospel Baptist church Asokore Mampong kumasi to the Asokore mampong last stop.

Continuing on the Benarko road, we drove and passed the Nasona Filling Station, Agape Christian Ministers College, St. Gregory The Great Provincial Major Seminary, Parkoso Health Center, Parkoso Police Station, Full life Baptist church to the Parkoso Trotro lorry station.

Branching right onto the Parkoso Aprade road, we passed infront of the Holistic Education center and the Adleys Royal Kids Shop to Aprade town, passing infront of the Methodist Church Aprade and the Aprade M/A Basic School.

Driving from the Aprade town to Aprade Junciton on the N6 Accra Kumasi Road, there were some police checkpoint on the road to provide safety to pedestrians and road users.
