11. Santiago de Compostela. Hotel Pazo de Altamira is a lovely, modern hotel within a gorgeous old Galician stone building. And it’s right opposite the fabulous market!
10. Jerez de la Frontera. Definitely try and stay at the famous Hotel Casa Grande - a big old mansion with a gorgeous rooftop terrace for drinks -
9. Vera Valley. I would suggest staying in the village Valverde de la Vera and my pick is the cosy and rustic La Picota:
8. Cadaqués. I love Tramantua Hotel, a white-washed gem run by a husband and wife team… service is fantastic, and it’s right in the old city, plus near the beach:
7. Cáceres. We stayed at the budget but good Hotel Iberia Plaza Mayor with views of the square): If you want to stay IN the old city though, the Parador here is a 14th century palace - the full Caceres medieval dream!
6. Oviedo. Prices in Northern Spain are often cheaper, so you can happily get a great hotel here without spending a lot. Check out the excellent Barceló Oviedo Cervantes:
5. Zahara de los Atunes. Either go with Hotel Avenida Playa (simple, clean, and right off the beach - or the slightly more chic Hotel Doña Lola -
4. Las Alpujarras. Casa Rural la Fragua is a gorgeous little tucked away whitewashed apartment in Capileira (either stay here or in Pampaneira). This place is perfect for exploring the villages around the area.
3. El Rocío. I love Hotel La Malvasía with its old-world luxury, the fact it’s only a 5-minutes walk from the famous Santa María del Rocío church and they also have a terrace which is perfect for sunsets.

Almería, Spain
Almería is a busy ferry-port, capital of the homonymous province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia and the center of the tourist region of Almería-Cabo de Gata-Níjar. It is surrounded to the west by the Sierra de Gádor, to the north by the Sierra Alhamilla and to the east by the valley and delta of the Andarax River and, beyond, a plain that culminates in the Sierra de Cabo de Gata.
Almería has more than two hundred kilometers of beaches, the Sierra María-Los Vélez and Cabo de Gata-Níjar natural parks. Also you will see Roquetas de Mar.
Alcazaba of Almería: built by Abderramán III, it is a Muslim fortress with three enclosures. Walls of Jayrán and Cerro de San Cristóbal: from the Alcazaba it descends north through the Barranco de la Hoya; this line of wall arrives until the hill of San Cristóbal.
Almería has one of the driest conditions in all of Europe. However, given its richness in groundwater and for being an area with abundant sunshine, the region is known as the sea of plastic. Currently, Almería has some 40,000 hectares with a plastic covered greenhouses, occupying almost the entire area of Campo de Dalías. According to what the estimates say, the greenhouses in Almería are producing around 3 and a half million tons of fruit and vegetables annually.

Lucena es un municipio situado en el sudeste de la provincia de Córdoba, sobre un terreno de campiña rica en cereales y olivares, en las Sierras Subbéticas, una ciudad para pasear, para descubrir en cada calle y cada rincón los vestigios de su rico patrimonio histórico artístico, una ciudad donde podemos contemplar monumentos como el Castillo del Moral, de origen hebreo, que se convirtió en punto de reunión de filósofos, médicos, poetas y otros intelectuales de la época. Esta fortaleza defensiva cuya construcción data de época almohade, es declarado Monumento Nacional en 1931. Dicha declaración tiene lugar por haber sido en este enclave fortificado, donde en su torre del Homenaje, estuvo preso el último rey de Granada, Boabdil “El Chico” después de ser capturado en la batalla de Martín González (1483). Más tarde se convierte en residencia de los Marqueses de Comares. Posteriormente se transforma en el Palacio de los Duques de Medinaceli, sufriendo una reconstrucción física en la mayor parte de su fisionomía.
En la actualidad, el Castillo del Moral alberga desde 2001 el Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico de la Ciudad. Muestra al visitante un recorrido temático de diez salas que reflejan el devenir y la idiosincrasia de Lucena, por lo que en cada una existe un punto interactivo para transmitir la información al visitante.

Driving on the Roads of Lucena City in Quezon Province | Driving Tour
I just thought I was in NCR while driving here in Lucena. The roads are wide and new. Of course, there's traffic build up. Lucena is an HUC afterall so heavy traffic is expected.
Lucena City covers a total area of 8,402.66 hectares, with an average elevation of 22 meters above sea level. It is bounded on the north and northeast by the Municipality of Pagbilao, on the south and southeast by the Tayabas Bay, on the southwest by the Municipality of Sariaya, and on the northwest by the City of Tayabas.
