The BEST COOKIES in New York (It's NOT LEVAIN anymore)

The BEST COOKIES, PART 2! We tried 14 MORE of the best cookies in New York to try to find something more delicious than Levain. And we did! Levain is definitely still in the top 3, but it's no longer the best cookie in New York. Is it Janie's Life-Changing Cookies? Spot Dessert Bar? Jacques Torres? Chip City? Time stamps for each bakery we visited are below...

Watch our first video with 14 other top cookies in New York City here:

Read our blog post, which includes a few suggestions that didn't make the video:

What qualifies us to decide what the best cookie is in New York? We love cookies and we've eaten at all the top bakeries and cookie shops in the City. That's pretty much it.

Bakeries visited:
0:00 - The challenge!
0:25 - Levain Bakery (Oatmeal Raisin)
1:33 - Chip City (Chocolate Chip Cookie)
2:38 - Spot Dessert Bar (Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookie)
4:28 - Best Damn Cookies (The O.G. Chocolate Chip)
5:51 - Gooey on the Inside (Chocolate Chip Chunk)
7:11 - Jacques Torres (Jacques' Famous Chocolate Chip Cookie)
8:29 - Culture Espresso (Chocolate Chip Cookie)
9:58 - Seven Grams Caffe (Classic Chocolate Cookie)
10:52 - Funny Face Bakery (Deluxe Chocolate Chip Cookie)
11:50 - Funny Face Bakery (S'mores Cookie)
12:10 - The Good Batch (Peanut Butter Fully Loaded)
13:22 - The Good Batch (Chocolate Chip Cookie)
13:35 - Janie's Life-Changing Baked Goods (Pie Crust Cookie)
15:01 - Janie's Life-Changing Baked Goods (Half-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie)
16:25 - Top Three Cookies in New York

Levain's cookies are still fantastic, and at this point they're so iconic that you have to stop at Levain's if you're in New York. Beside the oatmeal raisin, we highly recommend the dark chocolate peanut butter chip.

But the pie crust cookie at Janie's and the half-baked chocolate chip cookie, also at Janie's, are two of the best cookies we have ever eaten. And that oreo chocolate chip cookie at Spot dessert bar was phenomenal. So go to Levain, because you have to. But go to Spot and Janie's because you'll regret it if you don't.

Places to see in ( Phoenix - USA )

Places to see in ( Phoenix - USA )

Phoenix is the capital of the southwestern U.S. state of Arizona. Known for its year-round sun and warm temperatures, it anchors a sprawling, multicity metropolitan area known as the Valley of the Sun. It's known for high-end spa resorts, Jack Nicklaus–designed golf courses and vibrant nightclubs. Other highlights include the Desert Botanical Garden, displaying cacti and numerous native plants.

Phoenix is the capital of the state of Arizona as well as the most populous city in the American Southwest and sixth largest city in the United States. Founded in 1871, it has become the region's primary political, cultural, economic, and transportation center. At an elevation of 1100 ft (335 m), it is situated in the biologically unique Sonoran Desert. Over time it has merged with the neighboring cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert to form the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Currently exurbs such as Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Queen Creek, and Sun City are becoming part of this metropolitan area as well. Phoenix is extremely hot in the summertime, so always have sun screen with you.

More in Interstate 11
Interstate 11 (I-11) is an Interstate Highway that currently runs for 22.8 miles (36.7 km) on a predominantly northwest–southeast alignment in the U.S. state of Nevada, running concurrently with U.S. Route 93 (US 93) between the Arizona state line and Henderson. The freeway is tentatively planned to run from Nogales, Arizona, to the vicinity of Reno, Nevada, generally following the current routes of I-19, I-10, US 93 and US 95.[3] Planners anticipate upgrading two existing highway segments to carry future I-11: US 93 in Arizona from Wickenburg to the Nevada state line on the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge over the Colorado River, and US 95 in Nevada from the northwestern edge of the Las Vegas Valley to Tonopah. An exact alignment for I-11 has yet to be determined outside of these sections or through the Las Vegas Valley; however, a number of corridor alternatives have been identified for further study and refinement.

As originally proposed in the 2012 Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act, the highway would only run from Casa Grande, Arizona, to Las Vegas.[4] This was to provide a Las Vegas–Phoenix freeway link. However, extensions of the corridor to the north toward Reno and to the south toward Nogales have since been approved by the 2015 Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act.

The proposed numbering of this highway does not currently fit within the usual conventions of the existing Interstate Highway grid as it is east of I-15 and should therefore have a number greater than 15. However, I-17 was already built to the east of the I-11 alignment in Arizona, making it impossible to fit this freeway's Interstate number into the national grid and remain within the traditional numbering convention. The subsequent plan to extend the Interstate north of Las Vegas to Reno would, if constructed, put that portion of I-11 west of I-15 and thus in line with the national grid numbering conventions.

The 80th session of the Nevada Legislature passed a bill designating the entire route of I-11 in the state as the Purple Heart Highway, which went into effect on July 1 2019.

More on Kingman Arizona
Kingman is a city in, and the county seat of, Mohave County, Arizona, United States. It is named after Lewis Kingman, a civil engineer. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city is 28,068.[3] Kingman is located approximately 105 miles (169 km) southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada and about 165 miles (266 km) northwest of the state capital, Phoenix.[4]

More on Arizona
Arizona (/ˌɛərɪˈzoʊnə, ær-/ (About this soundlisten) AIR-iz-OH-nə; Navajo: Hoozdo Hahoodzo Navajo pronunciation: [hoː˥z̥to˩ ha˩hoː˩tso˩];[8] O'odham: Alĭ ṣonak)[9] is a state in the Western United States, grouped in the Southwestern and occasionally Mountain subregions. It is the 6th largest and the 14th most populous of the 50 states. Its capital and largest city is Phoenix. Arizona shares the Four Corners region with Utah to the north, Colorado to the northeast, and New Mexico to the east; its other neighboring states are Nevada and California to the west and the Mexican states of Sonora and Baja California to the south and southwest.

Arizona is the 48th state and last of the contiguous states to be admitted to the Union, achieving statehood on February 14, 1912. Historically part of the territory of Alta California in New Spain, it became part of independent Mexico in 1821. After being defeated in the Mexican–American War, Mexico ceded much of this territory to the United States in 1848. The southernmost portion of the state was acquired in 1853 through the Gadsden Purchase.
