Starting by the sea is a great choice. You can join the crowds at the Main Beach, get more privacy at Victoria or Aliso Beach, or visit the park at Treasure Island Beach. There are also plenty of options if you want to get out in nature without dipping your toes in the water. Go up to the Top of the World, go through different biomes at Crystal Cove State Park, or hike a trail at the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.

Art is an essential part of Laguna Beach. Check out the art museum, go on the Art Walk, or see the murals along Laguna Canyon Road. You can also go downtown to browse a gallery or buy a local treasure. The history of Laguna Beach is rich and varied. Seeing its art gives you a glimpse into how it developed, but you can learn more at the Murphy Smith Bungalow.

The nearby coast also gives Laguna plenty of delicious dining options. Get an acai bowl from Banzai Bowl or try the tapas at K’ya Bistro. You can also enjoy a drink at the Laguna Beer Company or Rooftop Lounge. If you come at the right time, you may even get a chance to enjoy one of the many traditional events at Laguna Beach. You can come for the Art Walk to see local artists, purchase from a vendor at the Sawdust Festival, or watch living art during the Pageant of the Masters.

[4K] Top 10 Beaches in Laguna Beach California

Here are the Top 10 best beaches in Laguna Beach California. 10 Best Beaches In Laguna Beach, California. Aliso Beach Laguna Beach, Surfing Laguna Beach California.

Laguna Beach's 8 miles of coastline is a collection of pocket beaches and secluded coves, As many as 30 beaches are spread along the Laguna Beach coast between Crescent Bay and Thousand Steps Beach.! With that many beaches to choose from, you might need some help trying to figure out which one you want to spend the day at.

Treasure Island Beach is located on the south end of Laguna Beach, near the Montage Resort. A broad stretch of inviting beach, shore-breaking surf, and a sandy bottom make this a popular spot in the summer. Skim boarding is limited to the beach's southern end.

1000 Steps Beach is located on the south end of Laguna Beach, near 9th Avenue and the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Guarded on either end by cliffs, Thousand Steps Beach is a nice pocket of sand at the southern end of Laguna Beach. Be prepared to descend about 230 steps near 9th Street.

Crescent Bay is a beautiful cove on the north side of Laguna Beach near the north end of Cliff Drive and the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Beautiful Crescent Bay Beach's quarter mile of sand is a popular gathering place from swimmers, skim-boarders and sun-bathers. This cove is surrounded by rocky cliffs and that there is a palm tree jungle on top. The tall cliffs that surround the beach are topped with tons of towering palm trees, which creates beautiful postcard views that are hard to forget.

Main Beach is located in the heart of Laguna Beach, right on Broadway Street and the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Main Beach is where you want to be for all of the action. This is the most crowded beach in Laguna and the one where you will find the most things to do. Main Beach, in the heart of town, is a popular gather place. The boardwalk along the edge of the sand makes a great place for a stroll. It’s the largest beach in Laguna Beach and the easiest to access, which makes it a very popular spot.

Victoria Beach is located on the south end of Laguna Beach, near Victoria Drive and the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). The entrance to this beach is a little tricky because it is hiding in between the houses at the intersection of Victoria Drive and Sunset Terrace. Victoria Beach is famous for the Pirate Tower, which is a sort of mystical-looking castle right on the beach. This towering castle stands 60 feet tall looks as if it’s grown from the sandstone cliff that surrounds it. In reality, the tower was built in 1926 to serve as an enclosed staircase to access the beach from the private residence above the cliffs.

Aliso Beach is located on the south end of Laguna Beach near the Aliso Creek. Aliso Beach is easy to get to and even has a designated parking area right off of the Pacific Coast Highway, Plus, this is the only beach in Laguna that has designated fire pits!

Table Rock Beach is located on the very south end of Laguna Beach, near Table Rock Drive and the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). One of the best attributes of Table Rock Beach is that it’s a bit more secluded than other beaches in Laguna Beach, with towering cliffs on both sides and a row of million-dollar beach homes up above.

Thalia Street Beach is exclusively for surfers and skim boarders and an excellent place for beginners to learn how to surf. Swimming and bodyboarding are not allowed on Thalia Beach because of how rocky this area can be, especially during the winter months.

The coolest feature at Pearl Street Beach is the natural arch rock wall located at the south end of the beach. At low tide, you can walk right through the arch and check out all of the marine life in and around the tide pools.

Exploring Dana Point California | Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel

We had an amazing time exploring Dana Point for a quick weekend trip. It is a beach town next to Laguna Beach. We stayed at the elegant Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel where the views of the beach coves and bluffs were simply stunning, and the service was excellent too. Prior to the gold rush, this area was considered by Richard Dana as the most beautiful spot on the California coast and I can definitely see why. Whales migrate through here all year, so we decided to hop on a boat and saw a humpback whale and hundreds of dolphins. Hope you like the highlights from our trip.

Laguna Niguel is known throughout Orange County for its extensive park and trail system. Over one-third of Laguna Niguel is public open space, a legacy of the original 1959 Gruen plan, and is divided between 31 city parks and 4 county parks.

Dana Point is a city in Orange County, Southern California. Dana Point Harbor, with its marinas and eclectic boutiques, is a jumping off point for dolphin and whale-watching cruises. Surf waves roll onto nearby Doheny State Beach and Salt Creek Beach, which is backed by a grassy park. Trails wind through Dana Point Headlands Conservation Area, which has sweeping ocean views and an interpretive center.

Laguna Niguel (/ləˈɡuːnə nɪˈɡɛl/) is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The name Laguna Niguel is derived from the words Laguna (Spanish for lagoon) and Niguili (the name of a Native American village once located near Aliso Creek).[7] As of the 2010 census, the population was 62,979. Laguna Niguel is located in the San Joaquin Hills in the southeastern corner of Orange County, close to the Pacific Ocean, and borders the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, and San Juan Capistrano.

Laguna Niguel has its origins in the Rancho Niguel Mexican land grant, which was acquired in 1959 by the Laguna Niguel Corporation to develop one of California's first master-planned communities. As a predominantly residential city, Laguna Niguel serves as a bedroom community for the job centers of northern and central Orange County. Laguna Niguel has a median household income 31 percent above the Orange County average[8] and nearly double the U.S. average.[9] It is known for its mild coastal climate, low crime rate,[10] and its numerous parks and public trails.

Salt Creek Beach Park is a beach park located in Dana Point, California, in the county of Orange. A popular destination for South Orange County residents, it features amenities such as a halfcourt basketball court, beach volleyball, and a seven-acre grassy Bluff Park, and offers opportunities for surfing, swimming, and fishing. It is located about 10 miles (16 km) south of Laguna Beach, 70 miles (110 km) north of San Diego, and 45 miles (72 km) south of Los Angeles.
