Écija is a city and municipality of Spain belonging to the province of Sevilla, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. This municipality is popularly known as the City of the Sun, the City of Towers and the Pan of Andalusia (due to its high temperatures, especially during the summer). It is considered one of the most important Historical Ensembles in Andalusia.
Its economic development is reflected in the large number of religious and civil constructions between the 12th and 18th centuries. The 18th century is considered the Ecija Golden Age, due to its economic and artistic wealth.
Écija has industries in the agricultural sector, dedicated to different types of crops. It also has some livestock industries.
It has numerous Baroque churches and convents, palaces and palace-houses. Throughout the city there are remains of buildings and architectural elements from Roman times.

A caballo entre la Navarra atlántica y mediterránea, ambas forman un extenso Parque Natural al oeste de la Comunidad Foral. Prados y frondosos hayedos alternan en este espacio protegido de paisaje idílico, cuyo borde sur cae bruscamente sobre el Valle de las Améscoas formando el impresionante mirador natural del circo del nacedero del Urederra.
El inapreciable conjunto de sus valores condujo al Gobierno de Navarra a la declaración de estos territorios como Parque Natural para garantizar su conservación en armonía con el mantenimiento de los usos tradicionales y los nuevos usos asociados al disfrute de la naturaleza.
Situado al oeste de Navarra, las sierras que lo forman, Urbasa y Andía, son montañas medias que forman una barrera geográfica entre dos grandes zonas bioclimáticas: la atlántica y la mediterránea.
El aprovechamiento que durante siglos se ha hecho de los recursos naturales (bosques y pastos) en las Sierras de Urbasa y Andía y el Monte Limitaciones, lejos de agotarlos, ha favorecido la aparición de nuevos hábitat seminaturales que han incrementado la diversidad del Parque.
Straddling the Atlantic and Mediterranean Navarra, both form an extensive Natural Park to the west of the Foral Community. Meadows and leafy beech forests alternate in this protected space with an idyllic landscape, whose southern edge falls abruptly over the Valle de las Améscoas, forming the impressive natural viewpoint of the circus of the source of the Urederra.
The invaluable set of its values led the Government of Navarra to declare these territories as a Natural Park to guarantee their conservation in harmony with the maintenance of traditional uses and new uses associated with the enjoyment of nature.
Located to the west of Navarra, the mountain ranges that form it, Urbasa and Andía, are medium mountains that form a geographical barrier between two large bioclimatic zones: the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
The use that for centuries has been made of the natural resources (forests and pastures) in the Sierras de Urbasa and Andía and Monte Limitaciones, far from exhausting them, has favored the appearance of new semi-natural habitats that have increased the diversity of the Park.
