It is located in the community of Plazuelas in the Sierra de Pénjamo, in one of its foothills, 15 minutes from the city of Pénjamo on federal highway 90 towards Piedad Michoacán. There is a detour on one side of this federal highway, where the municipal highway that leads to the pyramids begins, where, at the beginning, a welcome sign appears and presents the archaeological zone.
Note:
If you are not on the budget, take a taxi and pay the driver for waiting.
If you are on the budget, prepare for numerous buses and walking about 6 to 7 kilometers/ 4 to 5 miles like i have done.

ECODUCTO PARK ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS | MEXICO CITY
The Ecoducto Río de la Piedad linear park was built in 2017 and is a great example of suitable design thinking. There is a river underneath the park that had been piped and is part of the road called Viaducto Miguel Aleman. This park has water cleaning station that takes water from the river and cleans it for the pools and watering plants in the park. Mexico City has a lot of problems with water management starting from the time when Spanish came and were not able to figure out the system of canals that Aztec's had, since the city is literally build on the old lake Texcoco. I see this park as an opportunity for Mexico City to control and use it's water resources again, but let's see in this video how successful they are.

Plazuelas Zona Arqueológica | Cinematic
Plazuelas sobresale por su integración al paisaje, fue construida cuidadosamente para no romper el orden de su entorno.
La ocupación de este sitio se dio entre 600 y 900 d.C.
Otra particularidad de Plazuelas son los miles de petrograbados o petroglifos que están a las orillas de las barrancas del lugar.
Para llegar al la zona arqueológica hay que tomar la carretera numero 90 que va de la piedad a Irapuato y manejar unos 10 o 12 km desde la ciudad de Pénjamo.
