Los Saltos Ecoparque es una zona natural donde puedes apreciar grandes saltos y cascadas de aguas, ubicado entre los municipios de La Ceja y Abejorral (Oriente Antioqueño), aproximadamente a una hora y media de Medellín; en donde se encuentran más de 10 saltos, cascadas, manantiales y nacimientos de agua, puedes además realizar contemplación de fauna y flora y avistamiento de aves. Se pueden realizar grandiosas actividades de aventura como: volar en uno de los canopy más altos del mundo, disfrutar de una tarde de hamacas siendo esta la más alta del mundo; subir la pared de escalar en vía Ferrata y realizar senderismo (Sendero El Buey) en medio de ríos, bosques nativos y cultivos tradicionales de café, aguacate y platano.

You can do great adventure activities such as: flying in one of the highest in the world, enjoying an afternoon of hammocks, this being the highest in the world; climb the climbing wall on Via Ferrata and go hiking (Sendero El Buey) in the middle of rivers, native forests and traditional crops of coffee, avocado and banana.

To me it is like a painter's canvas with houses and walls rendered in a riot of colors and the general ambiance abuzz with wide-eyed tourists and colorfully dressed locals. Guatape has its history and culture literally etched on the walls of its houses. Located 79 kilometres (49 mi) away from Medellín. Guatapé is bordered on the north by Alejandría, San Rafael to the east, and Granada and El Penol, El Penon, to the south.
The name Guatapé, comes from the Quechua language, related to stones and water. Another name that the town had had in the past is La Ceja de Guatapé.
