The Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta is a park in the city of Zaragoza ( Spain ) opened in 1929 and located in the University district . Since its inauguration and for 81 years was officially named Primo de Rivera Park and popularly known as Parque Grande , but after the death of the singer-songwriter and politician José Antonio Labordeta in 2010 the Zaragoza city council named this park with his name.
The park was designed and built between 1913 and 1927 on the initiative of councilman Vicente Galbe Sánchez-Plazuelos, and was officially inaugurated in 1929 by Miguel Primo de Rivera , who gave its name to the park, being then located on the outskirts of the urban nucleus of the city of Zaragoza , which at that time barely exceeded 160,000 inhabitants.
Due to the growth of the city, the park is now inside the city center, located in the University district and next to buildings such as Miguel Servetus Hospital , La Romareda Stadium and the Chamber of Commerce .
For almost a century it was the largest park in the city until the completion in 2008 of the Water Park Luis Buñuel on the occasion of Expo Zaragoza 2008 . The singer-songwriter and politician José Antonio Labordeta passed away on September 19, 2010, and the next day the town hall of Zaragoza named this park with his name.

En 1929, fecha de su inauguración, fue denominado Parque Primo de Rivera o Parque Grande, recibiendo su denominación actual con ocasión del fallecimiento de José Antonio Labordeta.
Es una de las zonas verdes más hermosas de Zaragoza y uno de sus pulmones.

The Aragon Institute of Contemporary Art and Culture ( IAACC ), popularly known as Museo Pablo Serrano , is a dedicated center of modern art and current , which has the foundational repertoire an extensive collection of works of Aragonese sculptor Pablo Serrano (1908-1985).
In addition, thanks to the private collection Circa XX (attached in 2013), there are examples of well-known Spanish and foreign artists from throughout the 20th century , from Emil Nolde , Pablo Picasso and Calder to Warhol , Jean Tinguelyand Anthony Caro .
Museo Pablo Serrano is located on Paseo María Agustín, 20 in Zaragoza , Spain .
The museum is located in the old workshops of the provincial hospice, known as Hogar Pignatelli, which were rehabilitated by the Aragonese architect José Manuel Pérez Latorre to adapt them to his new museum function.
The center opened its doors on 27 of maypole in 1994 and has its origins in the foundation created by Pablo Serrano shortly before his death. In 1995 the foundation was dissolved and its assets became the property of the Government of Aragon , which in a few months created the current institution: the Aragonese Institute of Contemporary Arts and Culture Pablo Serrano ( IAACC ).
The need to increase the spaces of the IAACC Pablo Serrano, for the conservation of its collections and the organization of exhibitions and other activities led to the expansion of the building in 2005. The architectural project was drafted by José Manuel Pérez Latorre and in 2007 the works were awarded of construction to Obrascón Huarte Laín. The extension triples the useful space, which goes from 2500 m² to more than 7000 m² today, of which 3000 m² are intended for exhibition spaces. On March 23, 2011, the new Museum was inaugurated as the Aragonese Institute of Contemporary Art.

Que visitar en Zaragoza en dos dias | Uncordobesviajando #España5
Qué visitar en Zaragoza en dos dias.
Este viaje lo hice junto a mi amigo Batu de Turquía.
Nosotros visitamos La Plaza del Pilar en la que se encuentra una escultura a Goya, la Fuente de la Hispanidad y la Basílica de Ntra Sra del Pilar. La entrada a la Basílica es gratuita.
Después fuimos a pasear por el Puente de Piedra y la orilla del Ebro para contemplar la Basílica desde otra perspectiva.
Después fuimos a tapear a la zona del Tubo, paseamos por la zona del casco antiguo y el Parque José Antonio Labordeta y en la noche volvimos al Tubo.
Al dia siguiente, algo más relajados fuimos al Teatro de Cesaraugusta que tiene una vista exterior gratuita y mas tarde al Palacio de Aljafería, ticket gratuito los domingos, una visita Imprescindible en esta ciudad.
Ya en la tarde fuimos a la Parroquia de San Pablo y vuelta a casa.
