The Paseo de la Bonanova (Passeig de la Bonanova in Catalan) is located in the Barcelona neighborhood of Sarriá-San Gervasio . It was opened in 1942 and is approximately one kilometer long. On the promenade is the fourth best school in Catalonia , La Salle Bonanova.
The road, which stands out for its towers and trees, connects the old towns of Sant Gervasi de Cassoles and Sarrià. It has a width of 20 meters and extends for a kilometer, covering the route that goes between the Plaza de Sarrià and the Plaza de la Bonanova and houses part of the old path from Sarrià to Horta.
The street houses side and side old stately towers. 40% of these were demolished between the years 1970 and 1980, but most of them are still preserved.
One that stands out above the rest is undoubtedly the Muley Afid house . It is located at number 55 of the Bonanova promenade and was designed by Josep Puig and Cadafalch herself. Another prominent building on the road is the La Salle Bonanova school .
The formerly called Bonanova sector was born when the road connecting Sant Gervasi and Sarrià was built in the 1890s, in the 19th century. In it, houses of wealthy families of entrepreneurs who had returned from America with great fortunes began to be built.
It was then when the chalets and towers characteristic of the area were built today, a differential fact of the disparate architecture that exists in the Bonanova and Sant Gervasi sectors.
In the Bonanova square is the church of Santa Maria de la Bonanova (also known as the Church of Our Lady of Bonanova or of Saints Gervasi and Protasi). From the Mare de Déu de la Bonanova , which has an altar dedicated since the 18th century in this place of worship, is where the name of the walk comes from. The meaning of 'Bonanova' is 'the good news'.

CosmoCaixa Barcelona is a science museum belonging to the la Caixa Foundation located in Barcelona. It was inaugurated in 2004 after the remodeling of its predecessor, the Barcelona Science Museum, inaugurated in 1981.
La Caixa owned another homologous museum in Alcobendas (Madrid), called CosmoCaixa Madrid. This museum closed its doors on December 31, 2013.
In 2006, the European Museum Forum awarded him the European Museum of the Year Award, an award that recognizes every year new museums that have made advances and innovations in the museum field. The award-winning museum houses the statue of Henry Moore The Egg, symbolizing the award, for one year. Together with the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao (2000), the Provincial Archaeological Museum of Alicante (2004) and the Medina Azahara Museum (2012), they are the only four museums in Spain that have received the award.
The original building was the work of José Doménech y Estapá (1904-1909) in order to house an asylum for the blind that lasted until 1979-1980, when it was remodeled and expanded by Jordi Garcés and Enric Sòria to house the Science Museum of the La Caixa Foundation. The subsequent reform in order to make it the current CosmoCaixa was inaugurated on September 25, 2004, after five years of work. This reform and the expansion of the Museum were carried out by Terradas Arquitectos.
During the remodeling process, the walls of the old modernist nave were preserved and restored, which were extended into the body of the new, exposed brick lobby. The subsequent reform has considerably expanded the old facilities, with a new role in glass and steel; with more than 50,000 m², occupying four times more than the previous Science Museum. The new space includes nine floors, six underground but with natural light, and a large public square with views of the city.

Bonanova Park Hotel Barcelona
This simple hotel is situated close to the Avenida Diagonal, the Catalunya congress hall, the FC Barcelona football stadium and the university quarter. Numerous inviting boutiques, cinemas, exquisite restaurants and lively nightclubs are located in the surrounding area. The centre of Barcelona, which offers various shopping and cultural venues, is just 14 minutes away by public transport. From the hotel it is 4 km to the nearest beach.The hotel was built in 1971, completely renovated in the year 2006 and offers 63 rooms in total over 7 floors, of which 18 are single rooms and 45 are double rooms. Guests are offered a welcoming lobby with a lift, safes, a cloakroom and reception which is open 24-hours. In addition, there is a TV room. In-house free WI-Fi access and internet corner (payment) and the hotel laundry service may also be taken advantage of by guests. Those arriving at the hotel by car may take advantage of the hotel's car park or the concerted one.Rooms with Direct-dial telephone.Renovations 2000The Bonanova Park is a tourist-class hotel located in a leafy corner of upper Barcelona near Sarria. This relaxed location is a respite from the downtown and midtown crush, and it comes at a moderate cost. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, as well as the metro stops for Sarria and Maria Cristina. Built in 1971, the Bonanova Park was refurbished in 1989, and kept in first-class condition, until another complete refurbishment in 2000. The hotel is close to the shopping and business districts of Diagonal Avenue. It is also possible to walk to the home stadium of F.C. Barcelona, as well as the L'Illa shopping center. The guest rooms are bright and breezy, and the immediate, residential neighborhood is quiet. The nightly rate includes a buffet breakfast. Simple and functional, the hotel provides modern comfort and an excellent value for the money. The Bonanova Park is convenient to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

The Monterols park is located in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona . It was inaugurated in 1947 with a design by Lluís Riudor i Carol , director of Parks and gardens of Barcelona.
The park, classified as forest, is located on a hill called Turó de Monterols - also sometimes called Turó d'en Gil -, 127.3 meters above sea level , belonging to the foothills of Tibidabo . The land was owned by the Gil family, until in 1940 the Barcelona City Council bought the farm. In 1947 the park was inaugurated, after a remodeling carried out by Lluís Riudor. In general, the existing green areas were respected, so that most of the park presents a natural appearance, with lush vegetation; only in some small spaces was a more careful gardening, in a landscape style, developed. The vegetation is Mediterranean type, where the pines and thecarob trees , as well as oaks , cypresses , holm oaks , olive trees and almond trees . In a small hollow that was formerly a quarry there are palm hearts and aromatic plants ( rosemary , thyme , lavender and sage ), as well as shrub species such as mastic , strawberry tree , broom and hazelnut. The paths are circular and ascending, with stairs in some sections; Sometimes they open onto small squares where children's areas or ping-pong tables are located . Near the entrance of Calle Gualbes there is a stone fountain with a relief of putti holding garlands of flowers and fruits, an anonymous work perhaps from a stonemason workshop. It also has a sports area and an area for dogs.

Sant Gervasi-Galvany is a neighborhood in the Sarriá-San Gervasio district of the city of Barcelona . The name of the neighborhood refers to San Gervasio, since it was the lower part of this municipality to which it belonged until its annexation to Barcelona, and to Camp d'en Galvany, the urbanization of which its owner, Josep, began in 1866 Castelló and Galvany, who with his other surname also gave name to the Plaza de Castelló. The Galvany name became popular when they were adopted by the Galvany market, located in the center of the neighborhood between Santaló, Calaf, Amigó and Madrazo streets.
It occupies the area delimited by Doctor Fleming, Vía Augusta , Balmes and Diagonal streets until the confluence with Avenida de Sarriá. This area, in the division into neighborhoods approved by the San Gervasio de Cassolas city council in 1879, corresponds roughly to the Lledó neighborhood, which takes the name of the old Mas Lledó.
The population of the neighborhood is mainly of bourgeois and upper class social extraction and the oldest nucleus is around Sagués and Amigó streets. Starting in the 1950s, numerous buildings were erected, of which the most luxurious are located between Alfonso XII and Muntaner streets. Today it is a neighborhood with a great nightlife due to the large number of bars, restaurants and nightclubs that are especially around Tuset street and its surroundings.
