The Volta Region is one of Ghana's 16 administrative regions and boasts of notable tourist attractions like the Adomi Bridge, Akosombo Dam, and even Lake Volta, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world. I visited all of them. ????

The Volta Region occupies the area of Ghana east of Volta Lake and the Volta River, bordering the country of Togo. From great beaches along the coast to the lush highlands inland, this is a beautiful and friendly area to visit in Ghana. Be certain to visit the monkey sanctuary at Tafi Atome, Ghana's highest waterfalls, or one of the famous Kente cloth weaving villages - Tafi Abuipe or Kpetoe.

In this video, i took a tour in and around Ho township on a motocycle. The main purpose is to show the street of Ho and its daily activities. I stopped by at some busy places such as, the Ho market, Ahoe roundabout and a popular kibab joint.. I also stopped by the various Senior High Schools and Technical University that the town could boast of. Hope you enjoy and gets to visit one day.

A 24-hour 'Staycation' at Peki in the Volta Region of Ghana
Peki is on the 'Eastern Corridor Road' (Kpando/Hohoe road) in the Volta Region of Ghana. The serene environment when I visited there in August 2023 made me do this video.
Peki has about 8 or 9 communities including Blengo, Dogbati, Wudome, Avetile
Teviefe.
There are affordable hotels and guest houses for short or long stay.
The cool breeze, fresh air and tidy environ moves a visitor to miss the place the moment they leave there.

If you are nature lover and you are headed for Ghana you should definitely put the Volta Region on your list. In this episode I highlight my experience visiting Mt Afadjato, Wli Waterfalls , Tagbo Falls. Mt Afadjato is the highest peak in Ghana its a challenging hike because of the ascent but the views are very rewarding. Wli waterfalls has two circuits a longer hike and one that just leads you to the foot of the waterfall. Fun fact my mom spent 10 days with me in ghana and she went for her first hike
