Dalyan City & Park Tour - Our Favorite Place In Turkey
Dalyan was by far our favorite city in Turkey. We loved it so much because of the amazing scenery, peaceful town, wonderful parks and beaches. In this video we show you the park and city that was near our VRBO Villa (shown in a previous video).
We also show you a little bit of the Golbasi Restaurant where we ate dinner. This restaurant is a short drive from the center of the city and is right on the Dalyan river. It was a wonderful place to see and the food was good. We recommend checking out Golbasi Restaurant if you are in Dalyan.

I visited Adana on 21st January 2023, which was just two weeks before the huge earthquake that struck South East Turkey. Adana was the first stop of my ten-day tour across the South East of Türkiye where I also visited Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Harran and Tarsus Mersin. There are many things to do on a short trip to Adana. I visited the iconic Sabancı Merkez Camii mosque, the 2000-year-old historic stone bridge (Taşköprü), and the medical and dental museum.
The Adana clock tower is in the middle of the main market area and close to the Ulu Cami. It is also surrounded by many restaurants that serve the iconic Adana kebab and liver kebab (çiger kebap), as well as salgam (fermented pickled turnip/ purple carrot juice). I also tried the famous Bici Bici dessert which is made using ice shavings and syrup. Adana city really does have the best kebabs in the whole of Turkey - I have had many Adana kebabs, but this was the most authentic and delicious Adana kebab that I ever had!
We stayed in Adana Saray hotel which was within walking distance of the great clock tower, grand ulu mosque and restaurants.
We ate at the Büyüksaat Ciğrcisi & Kebapçısı İBRAHİM USTA which you can easily find just a few minutes walk away from the clock tower (Büyük saat).

Dalyan's Hot! - A Walk Into Dalyan Town Centre, Turkey
We take a walk from the Hotel Holiday Calbis into Dalyan town centre on the banks of the Dalyan River in the southwest of Turkey.
Come with us as we discover Dalyan in Turkey for the first time. We chose the hottest time of day to walk the 10 minutes into town.
We were staying at the Hotel Holiday Calbis as part of a Jet2 Holiday in June.
We also do the same walk at night and show some of the Dalyan restaurants and bars.
When you visit watch out for the dogs, especially the puppies which seem to latch onto you.
This was our first visit to Turkey and we would definitely go back again.

HOW is this not common knowledge!!??
An entire ancient city (The ancient city of Hierapolis) sits just behind the famous Pamukkale thermal pools (Cotton Castle) Mind Boggling that it is completely over shadowed by the pools themselves.
Don't get us wrong, the pools were cool, sometimes even too cool ❄????
But the city is honestly not to be missed. We explored Hieropolis for hours and were mostly by ourselves the entire time!
Again, getting up early has been the real winner here because we were alone at the pamukkale pools too!
I know this is already the number one thing to see in Turkey but theres even more than meets the eye!

9: Akyaka Nature's Aquarium: Days out near Dalyan
River water with a wow factor. Well worth spending a day or staying overnight in this beautiful little place inbetween Marmaris and the provincial city of Mugla. the town has everything a fabulous sandy beach, great seafront restaurants and then the river, boat trips , wildlife and the river restaurants which are very affordable (cheap). This town is so good i even forgot to mention subscribing to the channel.
We take a boat ride along the river, which was so clear i wanted to go and do it again immedietley it was amazing. Unfotrunatley we arrived on a day when the towns power had been cut, (who knows what was going on) seriously who plays with the electrics in the middle of the summer season amazing but thats Turkey and don't let it ever change. In all fairness it does not stop the Turks,we had a fabulous little lunch on the river bank watching the wildlife. oh and i can still taste that fresh orange , do yourself a flavour favor grab a cup , the orange seller lady is training for the world arm wrestling championship next year so you will keep her in trianing.
