Part 135 - Home Stay in Kattakurgen - World Cycle Tour - 2018
Monday 23rd July.
Home stay in Kattakurgan.
After another early start the riding was going very well. We had already cycled 50km by 08:00 so we decided to continue to the next town called Kattakurgen. That was another 40 km but we were all feeling strong and with good roads we arrived before noon.
We found the only Motel in the town but when we asked if they had a room we were told that international guests were not allowed to stay there. However, while we explored our options the lady from the Motel told us that there was a family we could stay with nearby. That gave us a place to rest and sleep and a different experience compared to hotels.
Tomorrow we will cycle the final stage to Samarkand.
