Bu gezide istikamet, Uluslararası Türk Kültür Teşkilatı (????????Türksoy) tarafından 2018 Kültür Başkenti seçilen Kastamonu'ya. Kastamonu doğası, tarihi ve kültürü ile gezilip görülmesi gereken, seyahat listenizde olması gereken şehirlerimizinden bir tanesi.
Kastamonu Belediyesi tarafından davet edildiğim bu gezide sizlere şehrin tarihini, konaklarını, türbelerini ve lezzetlerini elimden geldiğince göstermeye, kendimde o lezzetleri bol bol tatmaya çalıştım.????3 gün süren gezimde ilk iki gün bol bol Kastamonu'yu gezdim dolaştım. Sizlerede 15 dakikalık bir video hazırladım.

Kastamonu Kalesi
Şehrin sembol anıtlarından biridir. Şehrin batı yakasında, tabi kayalık arazi üzerinde kurulmuştur. 12. Yüzyılda Bizans döneminde Komnenoslar Sülalesi tarafından ilk inşası yapılmıştır.
112 metre yükseklikteki tabii tepe üzerindeki kalenin, döneminin kentini çeviren dış unsurları Karaçomak Deresi kenarına kadar inmekte idi. Kuzey ve güney yönlerindeki vadiler boyunca da dolanırdı.
İç kale Bizans yapısı iken, günümüzde görülen kule ve burçlar Candaroğulları ve Osmanlı döneminde yapılmıştır. Güneyden kuzeye 155 metre uzunluğunda, batıya 30–50 metre genişliğindedir.
Yapısı taş ve harçtır. Aralarında ahşap hatıllar da kullanılmış olup, 15 büyük kule ve burç ile güvenlik sistemi desteklenmiştir. Üst orta kesimindeki dehliz şeklindeki merdivenli yol, Kale Kapısı semtinde dış sura yeraltından ulaşmaktadır. Döneminde dıştan erzak ve malzeme alımını sağlamıştır.
Kalenin üst tarafında, altında kent halkının barınması için odalar ve dehlizler bulunduğu rivayet edilmektedir.
Kastamonu Castle
The castle, as the symbol of the city, is located on the highest point of Kastamonu. Located on the west of the city on top of a main rock mass, was built by Komnenosses in 10th – 11th century. Only the interior castle was left today from the original castle. The outer walls of the castle were destroyed in 18th century. The changes which the castle passed through made it reflect Turkish architecture rather than Byzantium architecture of Middle Ages. The castle is about 120 higher than the city, and the ease on transportation makes it the best place to view Kastamonu panoramically. There is a grave known as “Bayraklı Sultan
