Chawan Rest House Karor (1888) | British Era Bungalows in Pakistan | One day Picnic Sites
During the British colonial era in what is now Pakistan, various rest houses, dak bungalows, and government-owned accommodations were established for travelers, civil servants, and military personnel. Many of these colonial-era rest houses are still in existence and have been maintained or repurposed for modern use.
Chawan Rest House at Karor is one of such rest houses built some 135 years ago to monitor and protect the forests of this area.
Situated at an altitude of about 4180 feet above sea level, this rest house is at a distance of about 48 kilometers from Zero Point Islamabad. For more information watch the full video till end and enjoy.

Iryari Fire Watch Tower | Karore Valley | Pakistan's New Tourist Destination KOTLI SATTIAN EP.1
ABOUT THIS VLOG:
This is the first episode of Kotli Sattian Series (New Tourist Destination of Pakistan). Started my journey from Chirah Chowk towards Karore village. On the way I visited the beautiful Simly Dam Lake and the view point and took some stunning drone shots. My next stop was Karore Forest Resthouse in Karore valley which was a very beautiful and calm place. Then I continued my ride towards Iryari village to visit the Fire Watch Tower. It's a 52 feet tall tower built in 1964 to keep an eye on forest-fire. Now a day, TDCP has developed it as a New Tourist Spot. It is really a good, clean & tidy and lush green place. I'm sure you gonna love the drone shots from above the tower. At the end I stayed at the famous Karore Jungle Hotel for lunch. NOW LET'S ENJOY THE VLOG!

Karore Village is 50km away from Islamabad near Simli Dam. The Village is beautiful and amazing. You can see the amazing view of Simli Dam surrounded by mountains from Karore Village. The way to village is very peaceful though a little dangerous. But I enjoyed my journey to village and i hope you will enjoy it too. The best way to go Karore is to follow lehtrar road towards Karore Valley.

How to get there from Islamabad
Take Lehtrar road from Islamabad and turn left from Chirah chowk towards Simli Dam and Patriata. In about fifteen minutes, you would bypass Simli Dam and see the spill way on your left, drive another 10-15 minutes through hills and it will lead you to Karore.

At a distance of 30 km from Islamabad,the capital of Pakistan,there is a beautiful place which is no less than any other beautiful area. By the way,this whole valley is very beautiful, but I would like to talk about a waterfall that has been discovered recently.This waterfall is inside the village of Bissa.There are two ways to this village.One from Bhara Kahu to Simli Dam and other from Khanna Pul or Chak Shahzad.Both the routes go to Simli Dam Chowk and become one,so let me explain the other route.
Take a lift from Khanna Bridge or Chak Shahzad to Tramri and further from Nellore Factory to Chara chowk,take left from chara chowk, then15 to 20 minute drive will take you to Simli Dam Point from where you can see the Spillway of Simli Dam and the entire dam. Dazzle your eyes with this view for a while and as you start your car or bike,you will see a Tourism Direction Board of Kotli Sattian in front which has been recently installed by Punjab Tourism Development Corporation,If you want to go to Karore forest and New Murree,this road will take you to Karore forest and New Murree.And if you want to see this waterfall,there is a path to the left and down along this board.Go five kilometers and lock the bike or car and go to the place where the water is coming from.After 20 to 25 minutes of easy hiking you will see this waterfall.
