In 1907, the village was known as Bostan, and it has retained that name since 1928. The village lies 6 kilometers from the center of Karabuk and 6 kilometers from the center of Safranbolu.
I went there we my friends for visiting the bostanbuku jungle and spent quality time with them. I did different activity there like Bar B.Q, wood cutting, archery and bonfire etc. I made this vlog for Asian people so that they can see beauty of this area.

The Friendliest Town in Turkey | SAFRANBOLU
Safranbolu is easily one of our most favourite places in Turkey. Taking its name from the saffron flower/spice, this charming city is famous for their traditional well preserved Ottoman Turkish houses and the entire town is in fact a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
What makes Safranbolu extra special though is the people. Turkish folk are known for their friendliness, but Safranbolu we swear have the most friendly, warm and welcoming people we've met in all our travels and that includes outside of Turkey too!
We had the most wonderful stay in Akbulut Konak and loved our time with the family who own and operate the beautiful accommodation. We communicated with our host İmam via Google translate and had many long and enjoyable conversations together that way. The Turkish breakfast prepared and served each day by Nuray was next level amazing and we became fast friends with İmam and Buket's son Boran too. We cannot recommend their accommodation in Safranbolu enough.

The City of Safranbolu is a typical Ottoman city, with typical buildings and streets, and played a key role in the caravan trade over many centuries. The settlement developed as a trading center after the Turkish conquest in the 11th century, and by the 13th century, it had become an important caravan station. Its layout demonstrates the organic growth of the town in response to economic expansion, and its buildings are representative of its evolving socio-economic structure up to the disappearance of the traditional caravan routes and beyond.
Safranbolu consists of three distinct historic districts; the marketplace area of the inner city, known as Çukur, the area of Kıranköy, and Bağlar (the Vineyards). Çukur lies in the lower part of the town and has a triangular shape defined by two rivers. Its center is the marketplace, surrounded by the houses and workshops of craftsmen. The segregation of the city center is very typical for Anatolian cities. Kıranköy was formerly a non-Muslim district, with a socio-architectural pattern similar to that in contemporary European towns, with the artisans and tradesmen living above their shops. The houses in this district are built of stone, in contrast to the wooden houses in Çukur, which illustrates how the separation of Muslim and non-Muslim quarters during the Ottoman Period enabled each community to establish settlements according to their own traditions.

Turkey is a fantastic place to visit and it offers travelers wonderful sights throughout the nation, from dreamy natural landscapes of rock valleys and travertines to ancient ruins and historical places.Safranbolu is located in the Karabük Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, around seven hours by bus from Istanbul.The city received its name from the saffron which is native in Safranbolu.The powder made from the flower is a strong dye.Saffron offers a delicate flavor, distinct perfume, and a highly unusual color to sweets andother foods in Turkish cuisine when used in little amounts.
It's also utilized as a unique dye on some Turkish carpets.

The beautiful town of Safranbolu in Karabük, Turkey!
Safranbolu is a town and district of Karabük Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is about 9 km north of the city of Karabük, 200 kilometers (120 mi) north of Ankara, and about 100 km south of the Black Sea coast.
Safranbolu was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1994 due to its well-preserved Ottoman-era houses and architecture. You will see the preserved houses in this video.

Karabük'ün turistik ilçelerinden biri olan hem doğal hem de tarihi güzellikleriyle ünlü Safranbolu'da Tokatlı Kanyonu üzerine yapılan Kristal Cam Teras Safranbolu, yerli ve yabancı turistlerin oldukça ilgisini çekmektedir. Kanyonun üzerine kurulan cam terasın yüksekliği 80 m iken, genişliği ise 11 m'dir.
Ulaşım Safranbolu Merkezden 15 dakika Karabük'ten 8 Km'dir.Özel bir cafenin işlettiği bu yere giriş 4,5 TL. Cafe fiyatları İstanbul ayarında. Görülmeli mi derseniz Bana sorarsanız oralara gitmişken görün derim ama ahım şahım bir yer de değil.
Sadrazam İzzet Mehmet Paşa tarafından 3 asır önce yaptırılan, 116 metre uzunluğunda, 6 kemerli ve 110 ile 220 santimetre genişliğe sahip su kemerinin de bulunduğu 80 metre derinliğindeki kanyon üzerine 2012'de inşa edilen teras, Türkiye'nin ilk cam seyir terası olarak da dikkati çekiyor.

I travelled Karabuk to Ankara, that was around 2 hours travelling experience. Geographically, it is near to Turkey's center, and the most of it is in the Central Anatolia Region, with the exception of the northern sections in the Western Black Sea Region.
