Hazara Motorway or M-15 Motorway is a 180 kilometer controlled-access motorway linking the Burhan Interchange near Hasan Abdal in Punjab province with Haripur, Havelian, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Shinkiari, Battagram, and Thakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The project is divided into 7 packages; the first four (from Burhan to Mansehra) are already completed and were inaugurated on 27 December 2017 & 18 November 2019. The motorway is not being financed by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, but will instead be financed by the Asian Development Bank,[2] along with a ₨10.021 billion (US$71 million) grant from the United Kingdom.
Syed Zaheer ul Islam (Commissioner Hazara Division) said that 78.78 percent work has been completed on Mansehra to Thakot section. This section would likely to be completed by end of May 2020 depends on COVID-19.
The motorway starts from Havelian, passes through Abbottabad, Mansehra and Shinkiari, and ends at Thakot. The motorway has five tunnels two at Abbottabad and one each at Battal, Karmong and Mansehra. Up to Mansehra, its 39 km portion is six-lane controlled access portion while the remaining 79 km will be four lane road

Today I will take you on a journey in the world of tourism. In Larkana, a famous district of Sindh province of Pakistan, this city has a unique historical and political status. Former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto were also from Larkana district. Larkana is a famous city in Sindh province of Pakistan which is also a district in Sindh. Sindh is the fourth largest city in terms of population.
While it has the honor of being the 15th largest city of Pakistan. According to the 2017 census, the total population of Larkana is 490,508 people. The city has a population of 6,000 people per square kilometer. The total population of the district is 1.54 million. The total area of Larkana city is 82 square kilometers while its metropolitan area is spread over 1906 square kilometers. Larkana is situated at an altitude of 441 feet above sea level. Actress Soha Ali Obero and Fog Singer Abida Parveen are also from Larkana. It is believed that the Mohenjo-daro civilization existed here 2500 years before the birth of Jesus, from which it is estimated that four thousand four hundred and fifty years ago there were highly civilized people living in the Indus Valley. Mohenjo-daro is located at a distance of 7 km from Dokri railway station in Larkana district.
Mohenjo-daro means Dela of the Dead. The city was discovered in 1922 during excavations started by Surgeon Marshall under the Archaeological Survey of India, which uncovered thousands of closed secrets of history. Mohenjo-daro is known as a modern and civilized city that thousands of years ago was considered a center of modern conveniences and incredible skills. The people of this city were engaged in agriculture and trade. Larkana district is located on the west bank of the river Indus.
Jacobabad district in the north, Shikarpur district in the northeast, Khairpur district in the east, Kambar Shahdab Kot district in the west and Nowshera district in the south, which borders Feroz and Tadu districts. District Larkana consists of four tehsils, including Tehsil Larkana, Tehsil Bakrani, Tehsil Radodero and Tehsil Dokri. Sindhi is the most widely spoken language in Larkana district, comprising men and 48.9% women.
Other languages spoken are Urdu, Seraiki, Punjabi and Balochi. More than 95% of the population of Larkana district is Muslim and the rest of the population is Hindu and Christian. Larkana is a desert region with extreme heat and mild cold. Temperatures can reach up to 53 degrees Celsius. The average annual rainfall in Larkana is only 127.4 mm. The highest rainfall was recorded here in 1994. 524 mm was recorded while the lowest rainfall in Larkana district was recorded in 1938 at 7.1 mm.
