El municipio de San Lorenzo se conoce como el pueblo de “Los Samaritanos”, la “Ciudad Samaritana” y la “Tierra de las Leyendas”.
Este municipio está localizado en el área sureste de la isla y limita con los siguientes pueblos: Gurabo, Juncos, Yabucoa, Patillas, Las Piedras, Caguas y Cayey. Tiene un territorio de 53 millas cuadradas.
Los patrones del pueblo son Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes y San Lorenzo.
Este territorio era parte del pueblo de Caguas y para el 1811 (hay discrepancia con la fecha) se convirtió en San Miguel de Hato Grande. Más tarde se cambió el nombre a San Lorenzo, según una leyenda el mártir de San Lorenzo se apareció en una roca sobre el río que bordea el pueblo, cuyo nombre es Río Cayrabón.
El pueblo de San Lorenzo está compuesto de los siguientes barrios: Cayaguas, Cerro Gordo, Espino, Florida, Hato, Jagual, Quebrada, Quebrada Arenas, Quebrada Honda, Quemados, San Lorenzo Pueblo.
Este municipio pertenece a la región geográfica denominada Valle Interior de Caguas y a la región de las Montañas Húmedas del Este (en su parte sureste). En esta última región se encuentra la montaña más alta de la Sierra de Cayey, el cerro La Santa (con 2,962 pies sobre el nivel del mar).

Driving in Puerto Rico - Eastern Coast - Humacao, Naguabo, Ceiba - Roosevelt Roads
The Eastern Coast line was one of the hardest hit areas when Hurricane Maria hit in 2017. Punta Santiago remains one of the communities in which people have been working very hard to get back on their feet. You will experience the view of the western side of Vieques and Cayo Santiago.
Then I take you through the Naguabo coastal area in which you will find some local food places in the Malecón. Then we ride around Ceiba to Roosevelt Roads Naval Base in where the new ferries to both Vieques and Culebra are currently operating. All Fajardo operations have ceased. At Roosevelt Roads you decide whether you want to fly or take the ferry to Vieques or Culebra.
Roosevelt Roads is also a great place to watch the ferries come and go as well as see some abandoned military base buildings. It is also a place to take walks along the coast.

Air BNB Tour - Juncos Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico travel vlog January 2020. This vlog was filmed before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Juncos, PR is a town about 1 hour from the San Juan Airport. This Air BNB had 1 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a sitting room. The best part was the outdoor space and pool. The pool is shared with a few other Air BNB's. In my two days there I only saw a few other guests.
Romantic Getaway w/ View + Pool!:
