Jardin, Colombia is the BEST Place to Visit! Things To Do, Hikes and Wildlife
In this video we travel to Jardin Colombia! After two months of travel in Colombia this was the best place we visited! There are so many things to do in Jardin, including hiking, wildlife and a thrilling ride on the Garrucha. We see waterfalls, a bat cave and sip at cafes overlooking this amazing town. Jardin will always have a special place in our hearts.

In Colombia, cities such as Bogotá, Cartagena and Medellín are the most visited and recognized by international tourists ( But, in Colombia there is much more to do, there are magical places that you can enjoy on your next vacation. In this video I show you some of the hidden places to visit in Colombia.
First, in the department of Boyacá is Cocuy. El Cocuy is an indigenous land where you can visit the Nevado del Cocuy ( and interact with the native indigenous people. In Boyacá there are also the municipalities of Susacón ( and Monguí ( Susacón is located two and a half hours by car from Tunja, the capital of Boyacá. There you can go hiking and trekking. In Monguí there is the Paramo de Ocetá ( the most beautiful paramo in the world, which is worth visiting.
On the Caribbean coast is the department of Cesar, with its capital, Valledupar. Valledupar is the city of vallenato, one of the most representative musical genres of Colombia. There, in April, the Vallenato Festival ( is celebrated, a space where the great stars of the vallenato meet to play, as well as a space of opportunities for new artists. In Cesar you can also go to the Sierra de Nevada de Santa Marta (
In Tolima there is the municipality of Villa Hermosa and Ibagué. In Tolima you will find beautiful places like Cañon del Combeima ( and Finca La Rivera (
Risaralda ( is one of the departments with more biodiversity in Colombia. Risaralda is a department that is part of the Coffee Triangle. There you can visit coffee plantations and municipalities such as Apia ( one of the most biodiverse towns in the country.
In Valle del Cauca ( you can enjoy the great biodiversity of Colombia, you can ride in Brujitas in the municipality of San Cipriano or, dance salsa in Cali. Another department you should visit is Nariño ( There you will see amazing landscapes.

This is my trip to Jericó in Antioquia, Colombia!! It's a beautiful little cowboy town in the Andes.
Things to do in Jericó:
Visit the botanical gardens and the statue of Christ looking over the town
Visit all of the 19 churches
Sample Colombian food and talk to the local cowboys
Buy a carriel bag, a unique bag that the locals use daily
Sample the great coffee
Hike into the Andes mountains
Go paragliding!
The coffee shop I had the coffee in is called El Saturia. It's the best!! They have so many types of coffees to try. They will show you how they make their delicious coffee, too. The staff is amazingly friendly, if there's one cafe to visit in Jericó, it's this one.
The coffee that I tried in this town is among the best in all of Colombia.
The hotel in the beginning of the video is Hotel Porton Plaza. The views are amazing and the staff is very welcoming. It's right in the center of town. Highly recommended!

Colombia is a historical paradise, there are many colonial towns in Colombia that are worth visiting, and for lovers of colonial architecture and history I have designed a travel itinerary through 6 of the historic towns of the Colombian coffee zone. These towns are Jardín Antiquia, Jericó Antiquia, Aguadas Caldas, Salamina Caldas, Apia Risaralda and Filandia Quindio.
The best thing about these towns is that their tourist potential has not yet been fully developed, which is why they retain their own architectural style from the Antioquia colonization and the local culture. In addition, in several of these towns there are ideal tourist attractions to learn about the history of Colombia.

Jericó + Pueblorrico Colombia (First Time Paragliding) ????????
Jericó and Pueblorrico, Colombia ????????
Two smaller towns in the Colombian Mountains and coffee country that don't get the attention they deserve.
After a long bumpy chiva bus ride we got to Jerico where we spent a few days and also visited a town nearby called Pueblorrico. Whilst here we got to go paragliding which was a first for me and definitely worth it the views were incredible over the Colombian countryside.
We chose Nube Extrema in Jericó to take us paragliding, Juan was excellent and we couldn't have chosen anyone better the flight was perfect and he spoke great English! Settled my nerves and made it a day to remember. Can highly recommend them!
