Europe's rivers are among the world's most famous rivers, like the Danube and the Thames. In this video I briefly discuss each European country's longest river that only flows within that country - it must start, flow, and end without leaving the country or forming a national border. Bienvenidos a Valladolid, la provincia mas llana del país, conocida por sus campos, valles, llanuras y castillos, muchos castillos, de hecho somos la provincia de España con más fortalezas. Tener tantos castillos es prácticamente es una obligación, por algo somos la capital de una región llamada Castilla y León, aunque leones no tenemos ninguno, somos mas bien de liebres y corzos.
En total tenemos 22 castillos y fortalezas, la mayoría de los cuales organizan visitas guiadas para el público. Aparte de las historias y leyendas que guardan sus muros, cada castillo ofrece opciones de ocio diferentes. El de Peñafiel es la sede del Museo Provincial del vino, en Montealegre de Campos podrás conocer la historia con un video mapping, el Castillo de Simancas es al archivo más antiguo del país, lleva custodiando documentos desde que se construyó en el siglo 16, en Medina del Campo recorrerás las estancias donde Isabel la Católica pasó sus últimos días de vida y en Villafuente de Esgueva ofrecen recreaciones medievales en un marco incomparable con actividades para los niños de todas las edades.
Lo que mas destaca de cada Castillo es la estructura central, llamada Torre del Homenaje. Seguramente te estarás preguntando porqué tiene ese nombre y que función cumplía. Yo te lo explico. La Torre del Homenaje es la parte más alta y destacada de los castillos medievales. Solía cumplir funciones de estancia principal del señor feudal, por lo que era la estructura mejor protegida y debía ser la última en sea abatida. El nombre de viene dado porque allí se celebraba la ceremonia del homenaje, por la cual el señor feudal entregaba a su vasallo el control de tierras o feudos a cambio de éste jurara fidelidad, servicio y lealtad a su señor.

Hoy celebra la Villa de Campos su Fira 2013 como todos los años con su estrella LA SOBRASADA.
Como en los últimos VII años se ha celebrado la cursa de Carretons de Campos con mayor participación que en años anteriores, vehículos reformados a mano y otro utensilios usados para la bajada desde los depósitos de agua de la Villa.
Como en años anteriores la asistencia de público fue inmensa quedando los organizadores mu satisfechos por la misma.
