Finding DIAMONDS at Herkimer Diamond Mine
Hey everyone! Today we adventured to Herkimer NY, to Herkimer Diamond KOA Resort. We were able to find some small herkimer diamonds and learn more about the area. Compared to real diamonds, herkimer diamonds are a 7 on the hardness scale, compared to the 10 of real diamonds. These diamonds can only be found in Herkimer New York. Definitely planning on doing another trip there, now that I have some experience. Hopefully next time I go, we can find some larger ones! As always thanks for watching.
