Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁), meaning Greatly Blessed, was the first and largest of the Five Grand Palaces in Seoul. Built in 1395, it served as the main palace and home the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. The palace was destroyed during the Korean-Japan war in 1592 and was restored in 1867 under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong.
In here, visitors can see the elegant royal culture of Joseon, including facilities for royal affairs of kings and officials. Geunjeongjeon Hall, the symbol of royal authority and a venue for the official events, and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, a place for banquets, are must-see attractions of the palace.

Hanyang Doseong fortress, which sustained its function as the fortress to defend the Hanyang city
(old name of Seoul) and has maintained its sustainability for the longest time in the world.
During this event, our participants had a chance to attend a special informative lecture about the Seoul city wall, its history, and specifics (the lecture took place in the Doseong Museum), attend an interesting Hanyang Doseong Tour, which included trekking and beautiful views of Seoul city from above as well as participate in a listicle contest and have a chance to win amazing prizes! After the tour, all of the participants were invited for dinner in a Korean traditional restaurant.

Thirty kilometres south of Seoul is the fortress town of Suwon where at the end of the eighteenth century the Hwaseong Fortress was built, now a World Heritage Sight. South Korea’s most famous monastery is located in the Gaya-San National Park. Today the complex and its ninety buildings have become one of the main Buddhist centres in the East.. Tumuli Park is situated in the centre of Kyong Ju, former capital of the Silla Kingdom and contains twenty three royal tombs that look from the outside like large green hills. A huge number of valuable finds were made here thus the National Museum was created in which more than a hundred and fifty thousand exhibits from prehistoric times right up to the Joseon Dynasty are on display. Jeju island is a unique holiday paradise, a volcanic island with temples, waterfalls, tea plantations and several leisure facilities. For Koreans as well as the Japanese, Jeju Island has, due to its tropical climate, become a very popular honeymoon destination. When during dinner a volcano erupts and laser gods battle against each other, the Korean people are reminded of the fact that they have withstood invasion by the Mongols, Chinese and Japanese. At the climax of the show a fiery dragon appears: his sole task to protect glorious South Korea!

After passing the SSindapcheolgyo Bridge, the tributaries of Junglangcheon Stream and Han River meet.
The stone bridge of the house holds the sunset beautifully, and the subway line 2 is beautifully backlit and reveals the silhouette at a silhouette. Cheonggyecheon (Hangul: 청계천, Korean pronunciation: [t͡ʃʰʌŋ.gje.t͡ʃʰʌn]) is a 10.9-kilometre-long (6.8 mi), modern public recreation space in downtown Seoul, South Korea. The massive urban renewal project is on the site of a stream that flowed before the rapid post-war economic development caused it to be covered by transportation infrastructure. The $900 million project initially attracted much public criticism but, since opening in 2005, has become popular among residents and tourists.

Seoul Peace Market (서울평화시장; Seoul Pyeonghwa Sijang) was an area in Cheonggyecheon area in Seoul, South Korea.
In 1960s and 1970s it was known as a site of numerous sweatshops, criticized for poor working conditions. On November 13, 1970, Jeon Tae-il, a Korean worker, committed suicide by burning himself to death at that location in protest of the poor working conditions in South Korean factories.
By early 1990s most industry has relocated from that area, and it became well known as a quality marketplace, particularly for garments, attracting not just locals but even international tourists.

Deoksugung started from the fact that when the ancestors who fled to Uiju after the Imjin War broke out in 1592 returned to Hanyang, Wolsandaegun's residence and surrounding private houses were combined to be ‘Sieoso’ and made it a haenggung [Jeongneung-dong Haenggung]. After Gwanghae-gun took over, he moved to Changdeokgung and used the name “Gyeongungung”. Deoksugung, which has the appearance of a palace, was reduced in size as it suffered confinement and artificial banjeong compared to Inmokdae, and especially after Injo was enthroned, the rest of the palace was returned to its original owner, except for Injodang and Seogeodang. As a result, Deoksugung could no longer function as a palace where the king officially stayed and did state affairs.
After the Eulmi Incident in 1895, Deoksugung Palace came back to history. Gojong, who felt threatened by the Eulmi Incident, moved to the Russian consulate, and was converted to Deoksugung in February 1897. In addition, after proclaiming the emperor of the Korean Empire, the scale and formality as an imperial palace was established. However, after the Great Disaster of Deoksugung in 1904 and the forced abdication of Gojong in 1907, Deoksugung has been greatly reduced in size. At this time, the name was changed from Gyeongun Palace to Deoksugung Palace.
