LONG LIFE FOOD in Hunza Valley - HEAVEN ON EARTH, Pakistan | Pakistani Food Tour!

SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week
T-shirts and caps:
Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market):

I want to say a massive thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): Without him, this entire trip wouldn’t have been possible.

Also, thank you to Hunza Serena Inn ( for sponsoring our stay in Hunza Valley.

The goal of today’s food tour was to uncover some of the secrets of the long life food of Hunza Valley. Especially traditionally, people were known to live very long and healthy lives - a combination of eating seasonally, lots of nuts, and apricots, and fresh mountain air - we also discovered a few dishes that must have led to long life.

But we began our day in Gilgit, and first thing at daybreak, we drove about 20 minutes outside of Gilgit to start our morning from a strategic viewpoint. There’s a confluence where three of the highest mountain ranges in the world - Himalayas (Mount Everest), Karakorams (K2), and Hindu Kush, mountains come together. It’s a magical place, and we were literally the only people there.

We then headed back to Serena Gilgit Hotel for breakfast before starting our day to Hunza Valley. The drive was spectacular from start to finish - you will literally feel your jaw dropping as you drive and you almost cannot believe the scenery will possibly get better… and it does.

Chapshoro Point - Along the Karakoram Highway from Gilgit to Hunza Valley one of the most famous foods is chapshoro, a meat filled dough pocket. It’s a great tea snack - and we’d be having a few more of these today.
Total price - 900 PKR ($6.74)

Hunza Valley - We arrived to Hunza Valley and immediately checked in to Hunza Serena Inn, with an almost unbelievable view from our patio.

Baltit Fort - We quickly hiked up to Baltit Fort, a spectacular and iconic fort within Hunza Valley and then walked down for a quick bite to eat.

Hunza Food Pavilion - Just a small little cosy restaurant, yet so inviting and so many good aromas coming out of the kitchen. We ordered chapshoro again, and daodo soup, both of which were amazing.
Total price - 630 PKR ($4.72)

Osho Maraka - Hunza Serena Inn - We then headed back to the hotel where they wanted to prepare a local Hunza Valley food lunch for us. The food was good, a little on the plain side for me, but very fresh and local ingredients.

Eagles Nest - Next we drove up one of the main mountains of Hunza Valley for the view. Although we were late for the sunset, the view was still spectacular.

Traditional Hunza Valley food - In the evening is when the real authentic Hunza Valley food and cultural learning began. We were invited (thanks to the Gilgit Baltistan tourism ministry for setting it up) to a 400 year old home for a time of music and local Hunza Valley food. The old home was beautiful, and they immediately started playing amazing local music. The food was authentic and local - lots of whole grains, walnuts and almonds, and plenty of apricot oil. One of the dishes, a tortilla like bread filled with walnut paste and apricot oil was one of the secret dishes of longevity - so I was told! Whatever the case, the food, people, and experience, was outstanding.

By this time I have to stay I was tired, cold, and ready to go back to the hotel to sleep, but they said, we need to stop at one more place.

It was completely dark, and looked abandoned.

But we stepped inside a home, and there were at least 20 people huddled in the house, waiting for us.

I was blown away and humbled.

They made us tea and a few local pancake like snacks. It was beyond special.

Thank you to everyone involved, and to the families for their amazing hospitality and kindness. Another absolutely incredible day of food and people in Pakistan.

UZBEKISTAN, DRAGULJ NA PUTU SVILE - Dokumentarni film

DOKUMENTARNI FILM

Asslamo Alaikum Aaj ham aap doston ko sair k lye lay kar jaany waly hen Pakistan K aik Khobsorat District Swat Valley ki Aor aaj ham Swat Valley kay Haseen o jamil nazaaron say Lutaf andooz honay k sath sath Swat Valley Jany ka Tareeqa Bhi Btaain gay Aor aaj ki is video men un tamam hqaaiq aor Malomaat say parda uthaany ki koshish karen gay jo Swat Valley k bary men aaj say pahlay Urdu aor Hindi Zuban men YouTube par mojod nahe thay,
Swat Valley وادی سوات is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. With a population of 2,309,570 per the 2017 national census, Swat is the 15th-largest district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Swat District is centered on the Valley of Swat, usually referred to simply as Swat, which is a natural geographic region surrounding the Swat River.

The average elevation of Swat is 980 m (3,220 ft) resulting in a considerably cooler and wetter climate compared to the rest of Pakistan. With lush forests, verdant alpine meadows, and snow-capped mountains, Swat is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.
Swat's total area is 5,337 square kilometres (2,061 sq mi). In terms of administrative divisions, Swat is surrounded by Chitral, Upper Dir and Lower Dir to the west, Gilgit-Baltistan to the north, and Kohistan, Buner and Shangla to the east and southeast, respectively. The former tehsil of Buner was granted the status of a separate district in 1991.
The Valley of Swat is delineated by natural geographic boundaries, and is centered on the Swat River, whose headwaters arise in the 18,000-19,000 foot tall Hindu Kush. The valley is enclosed on all sides by mountains, and is intersected by glens and ravines. Above mountains ridges to the west is the valley of the Panjkora River, to the north the Gilgit Valley, and Indus River gorges to the east. To the south, across a series of low mountains, lies the wide Peshawar valley.

The northernmost area of Swat district are the high valleys and alpine meadows of Swat Kohistan, a region where numerous glaciers feed the Usho, and Gabral rivers (also known as the Utrar River), which form a confluence at Kalam, and thereafter forms the Swat river - which forms the spine of the Swat Valley and district. Swat then is characterized by thick forests along the narrow gorges of the Kalam Valley until the city of Madyan. From there, the river courses gently for 160 km through the wider Yousufzai Plains of the lower Swat Valley until Chakdara.

Khyber Pass - A Road Trip Through History (Khyber, Hamza Baba Mazar, Landikotal, and Buddha Stupa)

This is the video of my recent road trip (December 2019) form Peshawar to Landikotal near Afghanistan Border through the historic Khyber pass.
The Khyber Pass is historic treasure of Pakistan located at North Western border with Afghanistan. Khyber Pass is just off the historic city of Peshawar in KPK province of Pakistan. It’s a major trade route between Central Asia and Pakistan. This area has a rich history of about six thousand years old. This area has also seen the death of British and Soviet empires in different eras when they tried to mess with it.
Alexander the Great, the Parthians, Kushans and Huns came through this pass into ancient India some 2500 years ago while, The Mahatma Buddha and the great India King Chandragupta also used this path to create their influence outside India. The Muslim conquerors from Arab, Iran and Central Asia also came to India using Khyber Pass over the last 1400 years.
The British constructed the railway track through these rugged mountains in about 1890s. The track in marvel of engineering with scores of short and long tunnels though these mountains. The govt. of Pakistan has plans to rebuild the track to increase the tourism in this area.
People of the region are extremely hospitable and its extremely safe to go to this area. This region is truly a confluence of Arian and Indian Civilization. In a nutshell, Khyber Pass is a World’s treasurer that need to be seen and preserved.

10 Countries Where Pakistani feel rich

Please subscribe my channel to watch more videos. Thanks for watching 10 Countries Where Pakistani feel rich.

Pakistani tourists get a very crappy exchange rate when they travel to popular tourist destinations. This makes many of us price-concious about everything. But still there are many famous places out there which are culturally rich having amazing scenic beauty and the PKR will make you feel rich there.

1. Iran:

1 PKR = 325 Iranian rial

The landscape of Iran is diverse, providing a range of activities from hiking and skiing in the Alborz mountains, to beach holidays by the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea.

2. Indonesia:

1 PKR = 129 Indonesian Rupiah

Both nature and culture are major components of Indonesian tourism. The natural heritage can boast a unique combination of a tropical climate, a vast archipelago of 17,508 islands, 6,000 of them being inhabited, the third longest shoreline in the world (54,716 km) after Canada and the European Union.

It is the worlds largest and most populous country situated only on islands. The beaches in Bali, diving sites in Bunaken, Mount Bromo in East Java, Lake Toba and various national parks in Sumatra are just a few examples of popular scenic destinations.

3. Colombia:

1 PKR = 28 Colombian Peso

Colombia has major attractions as a tourist destination, such as Cartagena and its historic surroundings, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The coffee region is also a very popular destination, especially the city of Armenia and its surroundings.

Fairly recently, Bogotá, the nation's capital, has become Colombia's major tourist destination because of its improved museums and entertainment facilities and its major urban renovations, including the rehabilitation of public areas, the development of parks, and the creation of an extensive network of cycling routes. With its very rich and varied geography, which includes the Amazon and Andean regions, the llanos, the Caribbean and Pacific coasts, and the deserts of La Guajira, and its unique biodiversity, Colombia also has major potential for ecotourism.

4. Iceland:

1 PKR = 1.10 Icelandic Krona

Iceland is well known for its untouched nature and unique atmosphere. Iceland receives the highest number of tourists during summer (June–August). In 2014, around 42% of visitors arrived in Iceland during its summer months.

5. Hungary:

1 PKR = 2..48 Hungarian forint

Most tourists arrive by car and stay for a short period of time. Hungary's tourist season is from April through October. July and August are the best tourist months. Budapest is the country's most popular tourist destination.

Attractions in the city include Buda Castle which houses several museums including the Hungarian National Gallery, the Matthias Church, the Parliament Building and the City Park. The city has many museums, three opera houses, and thermal baths. Buda Castle, the Danube River embankments and the whole of Andrássy Avenue have been recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

6. Chile:
