Gujar Khan (Punjabi/Urdu: گُوجر خان) is a city in Rawalpindi District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also the headquarters of Gujar Khan Tehsil, the largest tehsil of Punjab by land area.[4]
Gujar Khan is approximately 57 kilometers (35 miles) southeast of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, and 220 km to the northwest of Lahore, the capital of Punjab. It is bounded on the north by Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Attock, on the south by Jhelum, Lahore, and Gujrat, on the east by Azad Kashmir, and Kahuta and on the west by Chakwal and Khushab.
Located in the heart of the Potohar region, The city and surrounding region is renowned for their martial culture and is sometimes referred to as the 'Land of the Shaheed', having produced two recipients of the Nishan-i-Haider. There is the main district hospital in the center of the city, along with many other private and public medical and care services.

Gujar Khan is a city in Rawalpindi District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is the headquarters of Gujar Khan Tehsil, the largest tehsil of Punjab. It is approximately 55 kilometres southeast of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan and 220 km to the north west of Lahore.

We started the 40 day of walk from Gujar khan city and we were going to islamabad city, Punjab, yesterday we finished our walk after crossing 9 km of Gujar khan city, and today starting from the same point where we stopped, started our day 40, today we have to reach Islamabad, crossed mandara toll plaza, reached rawat city, crossed AIT askari institute of technology, reached Islamabad, crossed, rescue 1122 office, lots of parks, there were really crowded roads and we were moving forward to faisal masque, after long way and crossing the islamanad city we finally reached the great faisal masque, we are finishing our walk for clean and green Pakistan here in Islamabad today, although we had plan to go till khanjrab pass but because of circumstances and current situation we have to ended up our walk, as corona virus has affected the whole world. I have left my family alone in USA, so I have to go back, I will comeback one day and will restart our walk for clean and green Pakistan along with Bilal from faisal masque Islamabad, I have tried to convey my message to the world to show positive image of Pakistan and also to educate ourselves, I hope I will be successful to do it through my videos and messages, I am grateful to all of loving people of Pakistan who loved and supported us, Pakistani are really loving , cooperative and welcoming people, no matter wherever you go in Pakistan, thanks to everyone, we did 64 km,today, finally ended up our walk for clean and green Pakistan after 40 days at faisal masque islamabad city, punjab, it was a good day, I would say we will restart our walk one day INSHALLAH, from the same point faisal masque where we are finishing today.

Jinnah Hotel Gujar Khan - Jinnah Restaurant
25 years ago we had to go to Rawalpindi (1 1/2hrs drive) to enjoy some good food in a restaurant. Gujar Khan was the nearest town but there was no place where we could go with our family and enjoy decent food. When Jinnah Hotel came all my cousins from abroad used to go there. You can understand the young generation does not like home made food. Now there are dozens of other restaurants in Gujar Khan but because of sentimental value we still go to Jinnah hotel but of course they also have good quality food to serve. When you go there say my salaam to them. :)

Whenver I go to Pakistan I try to buy fabric of my choice and after that go to the tailor and ask him to make nice Shalwar Kamiz for me. Since my village is close to Gujar Khan I bought the fabric at my fathers friends shop and gave it to the tailor (darzi). Yet again this is 360 degree video (can't get enough of virtual videos) so you know you will have to move the video with your finger to see other side. At the end you will see rest of Gujar Khan.
