Costa Adeje is a coastal part of a town and municipality in the southwestern part of the island of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands, and part of the province of Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. The Bahai del Duque was constructed in 1993 Casa del Duque was built by the Duke of Abrantes in 1930s and Casa Fuerte in 1553. Casa del Duque was occupied by Rafael Puig Lluvina who developed Costa Adeje in 1966.

Things to Do in El Medano #Tenerife - Attractions & Travel Tips
El Médano or the The sand dune is a town in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, on the island of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands. It is located about 11 kilometers from the town of Granadilla, reaching an average altitude of 75 meters above sea level.
The town is divided into five centers: El Médano, Arenas del Mar, El Cabezo, El Topo and Ensenada Pelada. A place of strong winds, it has been the site for various windsurfing competitions and championships. Therefore, El Médano is considered one of the world's best windsurfing/kitesurfing locations.
There is a large town square in front of the main beach, which holds many local fiestas, especially during the summer months and an annual public firework display across the bay. Around that square are many bars and restaurants.
El Médano is close to south Tenerife airport, so there is some aircraft noise. The flight path is about 1km north of the beachfront, but the airport is not too busy. The town is a traditional family resort, it is safe and friendly with families enjoying the beach and restaurants. Spanish families are often out on weekends.
Right outside of El Médano, is Montaña Roja or the Red Mountain in English, a cone volcano. Rising 171 meters above the sea it does not only pose as an impressive sight when viewed from the surrounding area but it also gives a great view from the top.
Montaña Roja is located right outside of El Médano and you can either walk there directly from the town or you drive closer and park at one of the parking lots within the nature reserve.

The HIDDEN GEM of Tenerife, Teno Rural Park
Teno Rural Park is one of the unique places really worth discovering here in Tenerife. Here people live in harmony with nature, you can see majestic cliffs, deep ravines, traditional architecture and laurel forests.
My starting point for the exploration of Teno Rural Park started at the Punta de Teno, the most western point of Tenerife, where a new and an old lighthouse guard the southern coast of the island. After a few minutes here, I started making my way up the nearby cliffs, passing giant cactuses and enduring the hot sun. When I arrived on top the landscape transformed into green pastures and passed through some small villages where people live close to the surrounding nature.
As I was approaching Teno Alto, I could see in the distance, the main attraction of Tenerife, Pico El Teide. After that moment I could always see it in sight until I completed my journey. After a quick break in this small village, the landscape changed again and I would follow my trail on the cliffs, admiring the deep ravines and having the islands of La Palma and La Gomera in sight.
The next morning I would continue through Macizo de Teno, hiking above the Masca valley and ending up in Los Silos.On the way to Los Silos I had the chance to admire the Cuevas Negras, some amazing and impressive rock formations made of volcanic material.
The whole park, known in spanish as the Parque Rural de Teno, has a network of trails all worth exploring. After a long hike, you can rest your feet and enjoy a nice traditional meal in the rural areas of the beautiful Buenavista del Norte region.

Today I invite you for a beautiful city walk in Las Americas in Tenerife in the Canary Islands in Spain.
Playa de las Americas is a Spanish fashionable resort on the southwest coast of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands.
It is known for its natural and artificial beaches, ideal surfing conditions and vibrant nightlife. Avenida de las Americas is lined with shops and restaurants. The Pyramid of Arona concert hall hosts flamenco shows. In the huge water park Siam Park to the north of the resort, you can ride water slides and visit the beach with artificial waves. Whales and dolphins live in the sea.
