The Beauty of Galicia - 4K Aerial Video from the North of Spain
Galicia, an autonomous community in Spain’s northwest, is a verdant region with an Atlantic coastline. The cathedral of regional capital Santiago de Compostela is the reputed burial place of the biblical apostle Saint James the Great, and the destination for those following the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. The western cliffs of Cape Finisterre were considered by the Romans to be the end of the known world.
Another stunnig place in this video is the beautiful Praia Mar de Fóra beach, the Cascada del Ezaro waterfall or the Beach of Cathedrals - a spectacular example of the raw power of nature! Natural arches, some as high as 30 metres and cave systems have all been formed by the Cantabrian Sea.

Empezamos este recorrido por el centro de la ciudad, en la calle llamada entrehortas, la cual tiene como particularidad que el gran muro de piedra lo forma el convento de monjas dominicas.
????Esta calle nos permite atravesar una parte del centro y llegar a una de las principales calles mas conocidas de Baiona como lo es la calle carabela pinta.
Está a escasos 250 metros de la playa y del puerto deportivo, por esta zona encontraras restaurantes, tiendas, bares para tomarte una buena caña, y si te piensas quedar veras una gran variedad de hoteles.
Recorriendo un poco mas por el centro de la ciudad, tenemos que visitar el castillo MONTEREAL O CASTILLO DE BAIONA.
Como curiosidad se dice que fue la primera ciudad del mundo en conocer la llegada de Cristóbal colon a America, desde entonces cada 1 de marzo se celebra una de las fiestas mas importantes de esta ciudad llamada LA RECONQUISTA.
Entrándonos un poco al castillo podremos observar esta fortaleza del siglo 12 y terminado en el siglo 16, también llamada (FORTALEZA MONTE BOI), aproximadamente tiene 18 hectáreas, las puedes recorrer y ver esta espectacular construcción de aquella época.
Esta fortaleza hoy en día tiene unos de los paradores mas importantes como lo es. EL CONDE DE GONDOMAR (VIDEO PARADOR) el cual, fue construido en las ruinas del castillo y en su interior podrás ver un poco de la historia, también podrás entrar en la cafetería y tomar algo viendo las espectaculares vistas.
????Otro lugar que nos ofrece esta ciudad para visitar es la (VIRGEN DE LA ROCA).
Este monumento esta ubicado en el monte sansón, tiene aproximadamente 15 metros, y puedes subir por el interior de la monumento, entrando vas a ver una piedra tallada con el año 1910, se dice que fue la primera piedra que se puso en esta monumento. Estando en lo mas alto podrás ver el horizonte y al un costado las impotentes islas cíes.

Córdoba is a city in Andalusia, southern Spain, and the capital of the province of Córdoba. It is the third most populated municipality in Andalusia, after Sevilla and Málaga, and the 11th overall in the country.
It was a Roman settlement on the right bank of the Guadalquivir, taken over by the Visigoths, followed by the Muslim conquests in the eighth century and later becoming the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate of Córdoba.
The Plaza de la Corredera is one of the most emblematic places in the Spanish city of Córdoba. It is the only quadrangular main square in Andalusia and is located in the historic district of Axerquía. Although the first evidence of an irregular plaza is from the 14th century, the current plaza was built in 1683 by the architect Antonio Ramós Valdés by order of the corregidor Francisco Ronquillo Briceño.
The Roman temple of Córdoba is located in the city of the same name, in Spain , and was discovered in 1951 during the expansion of the town hall. In the summer of 1951, during some works that sought to enlarge the building of the town hall, they found remains of shafts, columns and Roman capitals, for which the work was stopped.
The Plaza de las Tendillas is located in the vicinity of the ancient Roman forum of the city of Córdoba. It is currently the axis where the commercial life of the Cordovan capital is developed and organized, serving as a connector for the main commercial avenues such as Cruz Conde , Claudio Marcelo and Gondomar streets.

Bayona is a municipality integrated into the Metropolitan Area of Vigo and which belongs to the province of Pontevedra, in Galicia. It limits to the north with the Atlantic Ocean and the municipality of Nigrán, to the south with that of Oya, to the east with those of Gondomar and Tomiño and to the west with the Atlantic Ocean and the municipality of Oya. It belongs to the Valle Miñor region (Val Miñor in Galician).
In it is the Castle of Monterreal, which currently serves as a National Parador. It is of great historical importance, since on March 1, 1493, Martín Alonso Pinzón arrived on the Bayonne coast after his trip to America, making this town the first in Europe to hear the news of the discovery of the New World. For this reason, on the first weekend of March, a medieval festival called La Arribada is celebrated in the historic center of Bayonne.
Between 1519 and 1522, Diego Carmena Gallego and Vasco Gómez Gallego, born in Bayonne, were part of the survivors of the Magellan-Elcano Expedition, thus becoming the first to circumnavigate the Earth.

We visited the historic center, where the discovery of America was announced and we had a very good lunch there. On this tour, we climb the Virgen da Roca to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Baiona. Córdoba is home to notable examples of Moorish architecture such as the Mezquita-Catedral, which was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 and is now a cathedral. Much of this architecture, such as the Alcázar and the Roman bridge has been reworked or reconstructed by the city's successive inhabitants.
Córdoba has the highest summer temperatures in Spain and Europe, with average high temperatures around 37 °C (99 °F) in July and August. Summers are very dry whereas the mild winters have frequent rainfall.

Marín es una villa y municipio español perteneciente a la provincia de Pontevedra, en la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia, situado en la orilla meridional de la ría de Pontevedra, en la comarca del Morrazo. Es cabeza del Partido Judicial de Marín que abarca al propio municipio, y al vecino de Bueu.
Antiguamente, Marín se llamaba San Xiao de Ancorados por los barcos que fondeaban en sus cercanías, pero es seguro que se trata de una deformación popular de Encoirados, que significa 'curtidurías de cuero', como las que había en la orilla del río Lameira, que desagua en el núcleo urbano de la villa. El padre Sarmiento afirma que su nombre viene de la palabra latina mare, que significa mar, pero hoy se sabe que deriva del nombre de un antiguo posesor de estas tierras llamado Marinus.; Marín deriva entonces de (Terram) Marini: “la propiedad de (un hombre llamado) Marinus”. Ambas referencias al mar son, por lo tanto, puras coincidencias.

It is the capital of the comarca of Vigo and Vigo metropolitan area.
Vigo is the most populous municipality of Galicia, and the 14th in Spain. It is also the most populous Spanish municipality that is not the capital of a province. The municipality has an area of 109.06 km2 (42.11 sq mi) and had a population of 292,817 in 2016.
The city is located in the south-west of Galicia, in the southern part of Vigo Ria, in one of Europe's rainiest areas. In the north-east, it borders the municipality of Redondela, in the east Mos, in the south O Porriño and Gondomar, and in the south-west Nigrán. On the other side of the bay are the municipalities of Cangas and Moaña. They are all part of the southern Galician region called Rías Baixas. Vigo is located just north of the border with Portugal and its nearest larger city is Portugal's second largest city of Porto.
