Today we are going to take a look at Arkansas and the mess that it is.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the national poverty rate was 11.8% percent or 38.1 million Americans in 2018. These states have the highest percentages of poverty in the country: Mississippi, New Mexico, Louisiana, West Virginia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, District of Colombia, Oklahoma, South Carolina and the territory of Puerto Rico.
So why are we starting with Arkansas? Last month I got an email from a guy named Glen in Little Rock who said
I best not put Arkansas in my mouth again. He said he’d find me and pull me out of my electric car and crush my head.
I replied: Dude how did you watch my video, you are using AOL dial-up service.
He replied. What’s wrong with that.
I replied “Nothing if it were 1997.
He never replied again. So, in Glen's honor, I am putting Arkansas back in my mouth and we are going to look at the poorest towns in Arkansas.

Worst RV Campground Ever // (And How we Saved our Weekend!)
***SHADY GROVE CAMPGROUND, DENVER PA***
One of our biggest camping fears came to life this past weekend as we pulled into possibly the worlds worst RV campground. While the spots were tight, the sewer connections were not and we found ourselves in a bad camping situation pretty quickly.
After a confusing run in with some of the seasonal campers, we decided it wasn't worth the stress we had to save our weekend - and in this case we only had one option. To hook our Shadow Cruiser Travel Trailer back up and head home.
Currently holding the record for our shortest camping trip (19 hours between check in and check out) it taught us a lot about vetting campgrounds, when to call it quits, and what red flags to look out for when looking for a place to camp with our travel trailer.

5 Great Outer Banks Experiences - Things To Do and See in OBX and Hatteras, North Carolina
5 super cool obx adventures on the cool sandy shores of Cape Hatteras! Outer Banks is a laid-back beachy paradise, perfect for sunrise drives along ocean-hugging sandy roads and relaxing on wild untamed shores. Known as the shipwreck junction of the Atlantic for its rip currents and tides, the Outer Banks has over 300 shipwrecks estimated to date. So its a great option for shipwreck diving too!
I had a great time exploring Outer Banks and 5 obx adventures I'd recommend to anyone traveling to the islands are:
1) Seeing new islands form from the top of America's tallest lighthouse - the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse
2) Bioluminescence kayaking - on those rich glow-in-the-dark organism-populated waters
3) Sand gliding on the dunes of the Jockey Ridge state park
4) Seeing wild horses (maybe on one of those touristy hummer tours?)
5) Visiting the spot where the Wright Brothers flew their first flight
If you're in the obx vicinity, take advantage of its dark skies and star gaze as well!

There are many beaches in eastern New Jersey. In the central area, there is Asbury Park Beach, which is popular with young people, and Belmar Beach is a popular destination for family-oriented people. Manasquan is a favorite place for those looking for a quiet place, and there are many beaches nearby including Avon, Bradley, Spring Lake and Long Branch Beach. In the hot summer, blow up the heat with the waves crashing in the cool sea.
Beach badges are required for admission to Belmar’s beaches from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7 days a week from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day.
The fee for daily badges is $10 per day (children 15 and under are free). Seasonal badges are available for $70 and $30 for senior citizens, aged 65 and over with identification verifying age.
Tickets can be purchaced between May 13th - May 15th, May 20th - 22nd, and May 27th
during Regular Beach hours through Labor Day Weekend. An additional processing fee will apply to all seasonal badges. Parking is generally free throughout Belmar. Fees are required for parking on the east side of Ocean Avenue, Silver Lake, North Blvd. and in the parking.

Kensico Dam Plaza, accessible from New York by public transport, is a water source in Valhalla, Westchester, providing New York's drinking water. This dam was completed in 1917. It is 307 feet high and 1,843 feet long and forms the Kensico Reservoir. It was acquired as a park by the New York City Watershed Board in 1963 and is still the property of the New York City Environmental Protection Agency. Listed on National Historic Site as part of the Bronx River Parkway Reserve. The view of the wide lake from the dam and the view under the mountain is beautiful. The train ride from New York City takes about an hour.
