This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. Not the Best Route to Get to Gava Beach from Barcelona City? | Late August 2020
From the city center of Barcelona to Platja (Beach) de Gava. First we took a Renfe train from Passeig de Gràcia, but for some railway works (I guess), we had to transfer to Barcelona Sants Station. As we reached Gava station, we learned that we had to take a bus to bring us closer to the beach (fortunately there were free bus trips). Then we had to do a few minutes walk to really get to the beach. It took us a longer time reaching the destination, so we don’t recommend this route, rather, it would be better getting a bus, one is #96 from the city center that would go directly closer to the beach. We took this bus going back to Barcelona, and it was more convenient, and with the same price.

Beaches in Barcelona: Platja de Gavà Walk in Late August 2020 | Day Trip Spain
Walking on a windy and cloudy Platja de Gavà, one of the best beaches in Barcelona Spain, on Sunday, 23 August 2020, around 5:00 PM.
Gavà Mar/Sea is located about 20 kilometers south of Barcelona City, with a sea front of about 4 kilometers. It has pine forest, preserved dunes, and a promenade.
The Gavà Beach is very spacious, with clean sand and water, shower areas and toilets, and some restaurants. It’s closed to the Municipality of Castelldefels, and the El Prat International Airport.
There are buses going to Gavà Mar neighborhood directly from the center of Barcelona using T Casual ticket (around €2, two-way). Then a few minutes walk to the beach of Gavà.

????En este video os enseño resumidamente una ruta que me hago muchas veces, desde mi localidad de Cornella de Llobregat ( Barcelona ), hasta la playa de Gava Mar.
????Un trayecto que desde primera hora de la mañana cojo el bus, el L77, y me deja directamente en la playa de Gava Mar, un trayecto que tiene una duración de unos 30, 35, 40 minutos máximo, pasa por Sant Boi de Llobregat, seguidamente pasa por el Aeropuerto del Prat ( Barcelona ), y luego ya hasta Gava Mar que es el fin de línea del bus.
????Una vez llego a Gava Mar, antes de comenzar a andar, me paro en una cafetería, concretamente ( la Granier ), que se encuentra en la rambla que va a parar a la playa, y allí me tomo mi cafelito y mi croassant y luego ya comienzo la ruta andando.
????Una vez comienzo a andar, el trayecto que hago es la ida la hago por el paseo marítimo, unos 3 km mas o menos, entro en la localidad de Castelldefels, y luego la vuelta me meto hacia la arena de la playa y me vuelvo por la orilla del mar de nuevo hasta el punto que he comenzado la ruta.
????Antes de irme para cojer el bus y volver a casa, me pego un bañito en la playa, una duchita para quitarme la sal en las duchas de la playa y vuelta para casa.
