Ecuador is one of the most diverse countries in the world though it's comparably tiny. Beside the Galapagos Islands (which is the #1 tourist destination in Ecuador) the country has a lot more to offer, therefore I focussed on La Sierra in this video which is a paradise for landscape lovers and outdoor adventurers.
Another reason to visit the Andean region is that you have the chance to dive into the local culture and get a real feeling of Ecuador. The places to see in Ecuador I focussed on in this short video are the result of my own travels along the center from north to south and are easily doable in 2 weeks time.

Guayaquil which is officially called Santiago de Guayaquil is the largest city of the Ecuador, nation’s main port, and also the capital of Guayas province and seat of Guayaquil canton. This city has about 2.7million people and thus city is the commercial heart of Ecuador. This city was founded by the Spanish conquistador Francisco de Orellana. This beautiful city of Guayaquil has romantic colonial buildings, lush garden and animals, lighthouse and so much more. this city has a lot to offer its visitors because for a fact it’s a big city so u cannot be able to count your fun moments cause it going to be too much that you will lose count. In Malecon, there is a boardwalk along the river is indeed a place to end your day.

We start the day by taking the TeleferiQo Cable Car up to see the impressive views of the city. We then head back into old town to explore and wander around a bit. After eating a typical almuerzo for lunch we climbed to the top of the Basílica del Voto Nacional. We are also giving you a room tour of where we stayed in the heart of old town at Casa Anabela.

10. Guayaquil.
As Ecuador’s largest city with almost 2.7 million people, Guayaquil is the commercial heart of Ecuador. Located on the banks of the Guayas River that leads to the Pacific Ocean, the city was founded in 1538 by the Spanish conquistador Francisco de Orellana.

Visit the Famous GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, ECUADOR | Galapagos Animals | Galapagos Beaches | Attractions
We could not go to Ecuador and not see the world-famous Galapagos Islands. We stayed in the main town of Puerto Ayora. Even though we were there for a short time we could not believe the diversity in the landscapes as well as the coolest Galapagos animals. To be able to be so close to wildlife and for it to be unbothered by our presence was a fun experience. We saw the giant tortoises at El Chato Ranch and one of the nicest Galapagos beaches at Playa el Garrapatero. We cannot wait to explore more of the Galapagos Islands such as San Cristobal and Isla Isabela.
