The most famous city in all of Turkey is filled with history, a delicious cuisine, and entertainment.

9. Köprülü Canyon
This canyon is a National Park that stretches for 14 kilometers or 9 miles along the Köprü River, which makes for beautiful vistas. And with its rapids, this canyon is famous for white-water rafting.

8. Olympos National Park
Olympos National Park is a destination you have to visit when in Turkey. Its rugged landscape makes for mesmerizing canyons and tons of outdoor activities, such as the beautiful Göynük Canyon and the entrancing Chimaera ‘Eternal Flame’.

7. Antalya
Antalya is the 5th most populated city in all of Turkey. It has beautiful weather all-year-round and offers tons of exciting things to do. From natural attractions such as the Kursunlu and Düden waterfalls, to the famous Konyaalti beach, and the historical Old Town, the ruins of Perge, Aspendos and Termessos.

6. Pamukkale
Another incredible Turkey travel destination is Pamukkale. This natural site is located in the Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. It’s known for its mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down white travertine terraces on a nearby hillside.

The Anatolian Lake District is tucked away within the Taurus Mountains in Southwestern Anatolia.

4. Ephesus
Ephesus is the most impressive ancient ruin in Turkey in our opinion. The ruins are located right outside the town of Selçuk, about 80 kilometers or 50 miles from Izmir.

Traveling around Turkey isn’t complete without a visit to Kaş. This beautiful seaside town is known for its whitewashed houses, relaxed atmosphere, and coastal views.

Ölüdeniz is another beach town in the southwest of Turkey. Ölüdeniz is known as one of the world's best places to go tandem paragliding because of its breathtaking panoramic views of the aquamarine sea and a blue lagoon.

Istanbul is located in the northwest of Turkey and is the largest city in the country. It’s not the capital city of Turkey, but is known as the country’s economic, cultural and historic center. There are many historical places to visit as well as lots of interesting art, architecture, culinary heritage, and a vibrant local atmosphere. Try to stay at least 3 to 5 days in this bustling city to be able to enjoy the many things to do. In this video we'll highlight 7 INCREDIBLE things to do in Istanbul, Turkey!
7. Istiklal Street
The 7th best thing to do in Istanbul is to explore the vibrant Istiklal Street. Istiklal is the busiest street in the city, comparable to Oxford Street in London or Fifth Avenue in New York City. This long stretch has a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants, and much more.

6. “Relax” at a Hamam
The Turkish bath, or hamam, is an important part of Turkish culture. It’s a type of steam bath and also a place of public bathing that was used primarily within the Ottoman Empire starting in the 16th century. There are about 60 baths in Istanbul, offering just the traditional bath or including massages. The price can range from $15 to $50.
5. Galata Bridge & Bosphorus
The 5th best thing to do in Istanbul is to walk the Galata Bridge in the heart of Istanbul. This bridge spans the Golden Horn and stretches between modern Istanbul on the north and the Old Town of Istanbul on the south. The Golden Horn is actually an inlet of the Bosphorus river, which forms the border between the European and the Asian continent.
4. Topkapi Palace
Topkapi Palace is an architectural highlight in Istanbul and therefore ranks at number 4. Home to the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years, this palace was the heart of the vast Ottoman Empire. The palace has hundreds of rooms decorated with beautiful tiles, gold, and other decorations.
3. Galata Tower
The 3rd best thing to do in Istanbul is to visit the Galata Tower. This historic tower sits high above the city and is visible from all angles. It was once used as a watchtower, but is now converted into a museum. It offers the best view of Istanbul!
2. Shop at the Grand & Spice Bazaar
The runner-up activity is to shop at the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar. Both are located in the old town of Istanbul, near the Galata Bridge. The Spice Bazaar is a giant covered market with the majority of shops selling food. The market is also close to the Grand Bazaar, which is the true centre of hustle and bustle. With over 4,000 shops, the Grand Bazaar has a little bit of everything.

The best thing to do in Istanbul is to visit the Hagia Sophia. Located in the heart of Sultanahmet, this is one of the most impressive and important buildings ever constructed. KAS, TURKEY | Best Things To Do In Beautiful Kaş
Kaş is a beautiful seaside town on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. We stayed there for about a week and in this video, we highlight the best things to do in Kaş and the surrounding area. Kaş located about 188km to the west of Antalya and is known for its whitewashed houses, chill vibe and coastal views. It’s hip, but not as commercialized as Antalya, which means it attracts fewer crowds and maintains its charm.
Here are the best things to do in Kaş, Turkey:
7. Enjoy one of the many beautiful viewpoints in town. Kaş is built at the base of a high cliff, making for breathtaking views. The good news is, you don’t necessarily have to hike to one! The D400 highway that winds down into Kas offers one of the most spectacular views.
6. Hike part of the Lycian Way. There are many sections you can choose from., but we decided to hike from Mermaid Beach to Limanağzı Bay. This hike is relatively flat and is only about 3km or 1.8miles one-way.
5. Visit Patara Beach, which is the longest beach in Turkey. It’s an important nesting area for turtles during the summer months. But besides that, Patara is unique because of its large sand dunes that resemble a desert. You can also visit the Xanthos ruins here, which are a UNESCO world heritage site.
4. The ancient city of Myra ranks at number 4. It is located in the town of Demre, about 45 kilometers, or half an hour, from Kas. Myra consists of Lycian rock tombs which are built into the cliff face.
3. At number 3, we have the old town of Kaş. Home to little boutiques, lovely cafes and cute restaurants, and ancient rock tombs, this part of town is perfect for a morning or evening stroll.
2. The runner-up activity is to relax at the most beautiful beach around Kaş. This is called Kaputaş Beach. Located about 21 kilometers west of the town, you can visit this spectacular beach by boat or car.

Today’s Iran is a complicated, intriguing, but also a fascinating place, with some of the most welcoming and curious people you will ever meet. I traveled through Iran in 2013, and in this video I take you back to 10 favorite places that I visited.

Here’s a brief overview of the content in this video:
We start this journey in Esfahan, one of Iran’s most beautiful and friendliest cities, attracting tourists and travelers from afar. It is filled with captivating monuments, historic buildings, tranquil gardens, museums, and in general provides a great introduction to daily life in Iran.
After Esfahan, we travel to Kerman, a city on the fringes of the desert. It is most popular for what lies outside the city, the remains of the ‘Arg’ (an ancient citadel), and the small town of Rayen with its beautiful gardens and shrine. Not far from here are the Kaluts, some of Iran’s most spectacular desert scenery. These places are best reached by private vehicle, as public transport here is limited.
Iran has a long coastline and several island, the largest of which is Qeshm, in the Persian Gulf. This island is relatively underdeveloped and retains much of its traditional characteristics. It’s a great way to get an insight into local Bandari culture, and to witness some of the local economy at work, including agriculture, fishing, and the construction of classic ‘lenge’ boats.
Shiraz is regarded as the center of Persian culture for the last two millennia, and has some of the country’s most beautiful ancient bazaars and historic mosques. It’s also home for the tombs of Hafez and Sa’di, two poets that hold a special place in Iranian society and literature. The ruins of Persepolis, just outside Shiraz, evoke images of a thriving ancient Persia, and should not be missed.
The next destination is Tehran, the bustling capital city, and beating economic heart, of Iran. As the most secular and liberal city in the country, it’s the best place to learn about modern Iran. Qom, on the other hand, is one of the conservative ‘strongholds’ in the country, and provides an interesting contrast with Tehran.
We travel further to Kandovan, a beautiful mountain village where some of the houses are carved out of eroded rocks. It’s near Tabriz, the final destination in the video, famous for its magnificent bazaar.

Gökpınar Gölü tabii güzelliği bakımından Gürün’ün olduğu kadar ülkemizin nadide yerlerinden biridir. İlçe merkezine 10 km uzaklıktadır. Suyu tatlı, berrak ve temizdir. Öyle ki bazı kısımların derinliği 17-20 metreyi bulduğu halde içine atılan küçük bir cismin tabana kadar çöküşü ve tabandaki duruşu, net olarak izlenebilmektedir. Gölün diğer bir özelliği, güneşin açısına göre ton değiştirmesidir. Gölün rengi mavi-gök renginden olduğu için bu ad verilmiştir. Yaslandığı kayaların dibinden ve yer yer tabandan kaynayan göl, iki parçadan oluşmaktadır. Küçük Göl adı verilen gölden çıkan suda alabalık üretimi yapılmaktadır.Büyük Göl ise turistik amaçlarla ziyaret edilen bir konumdadır.
Halk arasında Gökpınar’ın oluşumu ile ilgili olarak iki efsane anlatılmaktadır. Birincisine göre, “Bir çoban sürüsüyle birlikte gölün bulunduğu arazide dinlenirken rüyasında kendisine ‘Koyunların ile birlikte buradan uzaklaş, alttan su kaynayacak’ denir. Çoban uyandığı zaman aceleyle sürüyü alır ve karşı yamaca geçer. Gerçekten de bir süre sonra su kaynamaya başlar ve Gökpınar oluşur. İkincisine göre ise, “Çoban ve sürüsü şiddetli susuzluk çekmektedir. Oraya yakın bir çevrede su kaynağı yoktur. Çoban çaresiz bir şekilde ‘Ya Rabbi su’ diye inler ve elindeki asasını yere vurur. Bir süre sonra asanın değdiği yerden su kaynamaya başlar. Çoban ve koyunlar kana kana sularını içerler. Çıkan bu su, orada bir göl halini alır. Gölün suyu berrak ve gök mavisi olduğu için yöre halkı göle “Gökpınar” ismini verir.
Rafting sporu ile ilgilenen insanlar için görülmeye değer harika bir yerdir.Gökpınar Gölünün alanı 3000 metrekaredir. Doğal bir akvaryum görünümündedir. Suyu çok tatlı olup ve soğuktur. Gölün rengi mavi-gök renginden olduğu için bu adı almıştır. Biri büyük ve küçük olmak üzere iki tane göl mevcuttur. Gökpınar Gölü iç ve dış turizme hizmet vermektedir.
